It was good

The visit was so quick that I didn't have time to process all of my questions. I asked questions later but not all were answered. The doctor was very personable but quick.

From the pre appointment through the appointment the staff was great . when a change was required due to emergency in or . the staff went out of their way to get an apointment with another doctor .all were very professional and listened to our concerns . our out come was timely .

I have been a patient of Dr. Schwerdt since 2007. He first attended to me in Norwood Hospital and then moved to South Shore and I followed him there because he is that good. Many many other patients of his have followed him to Southshore because he is such a good surgeon cardiologist at a person.

I met Dr. Schwerdt in the ER of SSH in a moment of crisis. He was the right mix of "at ease" and knowledgeable and helped me during a very difficult time. Yes, the doctor was very helpful, very informative, very knowledgeable. I would say the only drawback might be spoke very fast, almost kind of having to ask to repeat it a couple of times, whether to understand it or because it was just too fast to understand.

I like Dr Schwerdt a lot. He puts his patients at easy. Easy to talk to and answers all questions so you can understand them.

He explained things in simple terms. Sometmes doctors get into medical terms hard to understand

It certainly was one of my most memorable doctors appointments ever. He was absolutely wonderful.

The interaction with the "nurse" was to only take O2, BP, and HR. Nothing more. Very little conversation. I've been a patient of Dr. Schwerdt for 18+ years and he is A+ as a physician, person, and human being that clearly cares about his patients. He spent quite a bit of time with me going over medications, talking about injuries, and understanding where I am today. He is fantastic and your group is darn lucky to have him.

He was so easy to talk with and share my concerns regarding recent testing I had done elsewhere. He answered all my questions and explained my test results completely. He was prepared for my visit having review my information online before my visit which made me feel I was in good hands. He is a dedicated professional and I am so glad I saw him.

I waited two months to be seen by a cardiologist and was very happy to finally get to the appt. I had been dealing with frequent PVCs which I understand is not a life threatening situation but it has massively been disrupting my life. When seeing the DR. Woman in their 40s don't have cardiac problems unless they do cocaine do you understand that" I was a bit taken back. ok maybe im not dying but i still have a problem that needs to be addressed. Nurse that took my cardiogram could be more personable. A robot could have done better. Dr. Paul was on target and much more personable than the nurse.

I so appreciated the doctor being interested in my medical situation and also in me personally, even remembering things we had talked about on previous visits. But most of his expertise is remarkable.

Dr. Schwerdt ordered a nuclear stress test. This was not booked for two months. However, because my BP was 220/90 the next day, I went to the emergency department and was admitted. Luckily he was the cardiologist who saw me the next morning and ordered a cardiac cath. This was negative and he started me on medication which has helped. I have taken it twice and have not had any chest pressure at night.
