I felt that my doctor was extremely thoughtful, caring, and informative. Her bedside manner was the best that I have experienced from a doctor in recent memory.

Absolute professional, very thorough, very concerned, 100% attentive, maintained great eye contact, made sure that she explained all terms, didn't assume that I understood certain medical terms, which I do because I'm in a medical, not in the medical profession, but I am an EMT, so I do understand some medical terminology. But again, she did not assume that I knew it and she explained it very well, not in a condescending manner. She's a professional and I am absolutely satisfied and impressed.

I have already recommended Dr Onuma to a colleague as she was fabulous. It turns out that I don't need follow-up at this point but, if I did, I would do all I could to ensure that Dr Onuma was my physician. She was caring, knowledgeable, personable and an all-around pleasure to interact with. Thanks you for providing her.

She was extremely knowledgeable, empathetic, and took her time explaining everything that she needed to explain and made sure that we wrapped up with a really good plan together moving forward, one of which did not necessarily require me to come back in while I'm receiving chemo treatment, which is very nice of her. And I would highly recommend this provider to anybody, and I already have. Thanks so much.

The Doctor was terrific she listen, took the time to explain everything and answered all my questions an all round great experience. My only issue would be to question her choice of football team to support, Arsenal ? ???

When I did see the provider, she really took the time not just to tell me the importance of the medication I need to take, but she also took the time to show me a graph and also to let me know that, you know, what are the negatives of not taking the medication, what are the positives. And she also took the time to show me my past history. When I was taking the medication, it was better. And now I'm not taking it. It's, you know, getting downhill. So I really appreciated that. Thank you.

Dr. Onuma was friendly, respectful, empathetic and explained my general disease process well. I do have a medical background and I have a great deal of curiosity about my particular situation, where diet/lifestyle/labs don't explain the extent of my vessel disease. I did raise my thoughts, but we didn't discuss it, except to be told that there isn't a way to know for sure why this has happened to me. I understand that generally accepted science and medicine won't give me the answers I'm looking for. I am curious about how individual metabolism impacts cardiovascular health, I don't think I would find a Cardiologist in the MGB system that could meet my curiosity with equal curiosity. My individual goals are different from what i am being advised to do, but i will follow the recommendations.

My appointment [redacted] began by re-starting (picking up where we left off) a discussion from 15+ Months ago at my last appointment regarding medicines such as Ozempic, Zepbound, without weighing me, without taking blood pressure, without an EKG, without bloodwork. All of which were done after my time with the Cardiologist (She personally took my Blood Pressure just before she left). So basically no new information since the discussion ended at the last appointment well over a year ago. I find this strange that there was no discussion of what's new or what changed or where are we today medically / test wise, before these discussions. But I do trust and respect my cardiologists opinions.
