Nora A Barrett, MD

I'm speaking of Dr. Nora Barrett, who is one of the shining stars of Mass General Brigham Hospital. I am a patient of hers, and she did save me from being in the emergency room all the time for my asthma. She actually fought to get me the type of medicine that would do some good. After getting that medicine, I haven't set foot in the emergency room in a year because I now have the appropriate medicine. It's not often you see a doctor who is smart, personable, curious about alternatives, and just all of the things you would want from a doctor. Dr. Barrett is all of that and more. I just, I'm happy of that.

Dr. Barrett was very professional yet compassionate and personable and extremely knowledgeable. She helped me to understand a difficult concept and I would highly recommend her and it was only the first time that I met her.

I found her to be extremely smart and thoughtful. She thought outside the box and thought about the interaction of two medical conditions that I have. She went above and beyond in interacting with my other physician, and an offering to help me find the name of a specialist in a different condition that I have. I was very favorably impressed.

This is a refreshing experience to someone who has been to many different providers seeking an answer to health issues.
