Dr Schraut was very attentive and kind, showed me the xray of both knees; he explained what tue X-rays showed and discussed options for managing pain and instability during future flare ups of osteoarthritis and pseudo gout.

This care provider is top notch. He listens to my experiences, what I've been going through for my issues is knee pain, but I also had another issue that day, which was like wrist pain that he helped me with, a brace. He spent time with me. I never felt rushed and I felt like he understood my concerns.

My experience with with this provider has always been excellent. My last hip was replaced a year ago and I will be having the right hip replaced soon.I wouldn't go to anyone else and have recommended him on several occasions.

This provider was very clear regarding the surgery I will be having. He expressed concern about my situation and he was confident about the next steps to take while also clear about the risks etc. He said there will be a follow up call from an assistant regarding tests I need to have done and details which I have yet to receive .This was a bit concerning to me as the orders are listed on Patient Gateway and I have questions regarding them. Other than that, I was very pleased with the visit.

This was my first visit and he listened to all my problems and addressed each one. I asked him about his experience and he explained all his educational experiences with me. I found him very knowledgeable and kind.

He was definitely very interested in how I felt. He stated that my ex rays, where great he took the time to show me them and how wonderful it was healing. Answered our questions why swelling was returning. He said I needed a compression stocking. We asked if we should go to the supply store on route 1. He said that was fine, stating it should be mild compression stocking. I am glad he recommended the stocking. Swelling has come down quite a bit since Saturday.

Dr. Schraut was so nice, kind, patient. It was a pleasure meeting him, working with him. He explained everything, made me feel comfortable. And overall, my experience was fantastic. And in the future, I would definitely use him.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Schraut. I've had bad knees. I'm 78. I've had bad knees for many years. And because of some of my health concerns, I was really hoping I didn't need knee replacement. He assured me I didn't. He listened to all my questions. He was very professional and pleasant to deal with. I got two cortisone shots that have helped my knees. and I would highly recommend him to anybody else. In fact, he was recommended to me, and I'm glad they did, and hopefully I'll be seeing him in about another three months, but it was terrific. Can't say more. Thank you very much.

Dr Schraut is an excellent surgeon and all the ER doctors and nurses, surgical doctors and nurses, and Phippen 6th floor orthopedic doctors and nurses who took care of me and my broken femur on [redacted] were great.
