It is difficult to rate the physician because I have not received any treatment from her to date. My appointment was for an initial consultation only. I was a bit surprised to learn that I would be a good candidate for an additional procedure as well as the one that I am applying for. Further consultation with another physician was recommended and this was quickly and efficiently scheduled.

My entire experience With Dr Lee's office was amazing. I arrived a couple hours early to ensure I wouldn't be late due to traffic. I fully expected to sit around for the e waiting for my appt time. The office staff had me in a room and started the intake process with in a half hour. I felt very welcome and heard during the entire experience. After struggling just to get into another provider I highly recommend this provider!

I think Dr. Lee is an exceptional surgeon. I had both upper and lower lid surgery done and thought she was wonderful and an excellent skilled surgeon. My only question remains that after the fact, a year after surgery, when there are small alterations to be made to the skin, I am being sent to a dermatologist and I just wonder if that's the proper place to take care of those small bunks. But we shall see. Dr. Lee believes it is, so I will trust her implicitly.

This was our first meeting, and it was because I had been in the ED several times. I really appreciate that Dr. Lee took in all the info I gave her at face value, saw that I was unique and capable, and offered a solution should this happen again. I wasn't expecting that, or that immediate level of trust in my knowledge. I appreciate that very much, as it doesn't happen often enough. She was also flexible about doing a procedure I wasn't too keen to have, and we compromised. You really can't ask for better than that!

I don't believe the provider knew my history very well and was dismissive of my reason for being there. Her bedside manner left me cold. I'm sure she knows the job and how to do it, but I would have appreciated a better back and forth conversation and some compassion for my situation. She is absolutely spectacular!

Appointment felt very rushed. Basis of diagnosis was not explained.

Dr. Lee was exceptional at her job. She was very thorough, courteous, saw me in a timely manner. It was the second appointment I had with her, once a year ago, and then this year, and she's consistent across the board. Very thorough, and I'm sure excellent at what she does.

I really liked the way he treated me. He paid attention to me and helped me. I didn't have an interpreter, but we understood each other somewhat. And he didn't have a nurse. And at that moment, I wasn't seen by a nurse. It was the first time I'd been to that doctor. And there wasn't a nurse at that moment. But overall, it was pretty good.

I think she has a great bedside manner, and I think Dr. Lee has been wonderful every time I have seen her. And I've always felt comfortable asking questions and raising any concerns I have. So I think she's a great asset to your organization. And that is all. Thank you.

I wish Dr Lee had reconsidered her position after I pointed out that my eyelids had been operated on only once. ( The second time was with a laser that burned the cholesterol deposit instead of cutting it off). I was surprised that Dr Lee would not take the time to look closely at my eyelids. It seemed to me that I was automatically disqualified for an operation simply because she assumed it had been done twice already. In any case, Dr Lee was courteous but I didn't get the sense that she was really trying to find a solution to something that is really bothersome for the patient. [redacted] I am sure Dr Lee is a fine Doctor and she was very polite but I didn't feel that there was much to hope for. If a patient has something on their eyes or face that bothers them deeply, empathy, heart, compassion should absolutely be part of the experience I think.

Dr. Lee is kind and considerate. She listened to everything I had to say. Her office is extremely well run and all people were respectful and caring. Dr. Lee explained the procedure and addressed my concerns. Can't ask for better!

Dr. Lee is a great doctor and Mass Eye and Ear is blessed to have her. She efficiently saw me and helped me with the reason for why I went in to see her. And I would gladly recommend her to anybody else. And I fully intend when I need to go back to eye plastics to seeing her. She is great.

Dr. Lee agreed with my concerns and plans to perform eye surgery in Boston at Ma Eye and Ear. I await the date.

She explained that the eye would need to be evaluated first, but sought out a team to do the procedure after all.

Dr Lee was excellent.

I found that she was very knowledgeable, but I don't feel, I did not feel that she gave me all the information that I probably needed. And some of the information I would say was like somewhat incomplete, such as how long it might be until I get a call relative to setting up an appointment for the procedures that I'm going to go through. I got in the car after the appointment and realized, gosh, we didn't really talk about that much of how the operation will affect me the days right afterwards and what care would be involved in the afterwards outside of the next appointment.

Extremely skilled, well-trained in a difficult sub-specialty, generous with her time.

Some of the things the provider said were likely meant to be well meaning, but were frightening and didnt apply to me. Comparing suffering doesn't help people. ( I see people who have had surgery in Morrroco and Turkey much worse than yours - with a visual demonstration pulling down her lids) [redacted]

I came to this provider with confidence due to my preparation on the pre-visit check-in and in awareness of my Ptosis condition. The provider's process followed very logical steps from the screener's cordial/professional 2-stop determination of my sight interferences and then measuring my sight acuity and pressure within my eye. The Resident Ophthamologist Dr. [redacted] was very clear and gentle in his close examination of my eyes and orbital areas. Dr. Lee wrapped matters up and pronounced what a wise course of treatment would entail.

Dr Lee is an ace, obviously. The resident doctor was also really great in terms of thoroughness and communication. I felt I was really in the medical "Big Leagues"!
