My new doctor Dr Manandhar is exceptional. I am so grateful she included me as a patient in her medical practice. She is wonderful. As are her staff and colleagues at MGH West.

I value a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care. Unfortunately, during my visits I often felt that the provider was not fully engaged, did not ask follow-up questions, and that appointments felt rushed, which made it difficult to feel heard or understood.

She did not ask me any questions about my general health and well being. She stuck strictly to her notes and focused solely on following up on items from last year. I left realizing I never talked about some current concerns I have about my health. I felt rushed and she is patronizing in how she speaks to me about my health.

This was my first visit with Dr. Manandhar. She was excellent. She listened very attentively to my health concerns. She was thorough in her exam. Her recommendation to get a chest X-ray proved most helpful. She followed up with with me that night giving me the chest X-ray results and prescribing antibiotics. She could use more help lol. The wait was long in both the waiting room and once I was in the exam room. I did not have a lot of time with my MD she seemed overworked and a bit rushed for time as a result many of the things I wanted to discuss I did not.

She was there when I needed someone the most.. that's not always an easy thing and I couldn't be more greatful

I have only met Dr Manandhar on two occasions, for routine checkups, so we really haven't had a 'relationship'. However, I am so grateful to her for her prompt response to my inquiry at a time when I was very concerned about a new health situation.

She's been at the practice for about two and a half years and I know for her getting to know her patients better where there's so little time is meaningful to her.
