He spent almost an hour with me, really listening to my history, reviewing what's going on with me, and just being very professional and respectful of what I have going on and working with me to understand what I'm looking for and hoping for. Overall, it's just a great experience and I'm very thankful to have him as a provider.

Dr. Ajao was excellent. He was very good at explaining everything very clearly to me and I also felt that he had reviewed all of my chart and came very well prepared and I felt very valued and appreciated. And so I had a very, very good experience and would not hesitate to recommend him even though he recommended not to have surgery.

My visit with Dr. Ajao really helped to put me at ease moving into a difficult medical intervention. He was welcoming and curious about my experiences and while knowledgeable, he also took the time to explain things in layperson's language using interesting metaphors and analogies while checking to make sure we understood what was going on with my body, all of the possible medical interventions and why/how he landed on his final recommendation. All this, while still making it clear that in the end, the final decision was mine. Over the past year, I have seen 4 other professionals, working to address my medical concerns and this process has been long and taxing and emotional at times, but knowing that DR. Ajao will be the one to work with me has offered so much relief, to my mom as well, who has been concerned about this entire process. She came with me to the appointment and we both left feeling really good about next steps. It was also really wonderful to find a Black practitioner - especially dealing with fibroids, a condition that affects Black folks with uteri with such a staggering disproportionality. He made it clear that this is his field of expertise and it was clear from how he spoke about it throughout the appointment. I truly, couldn't be more pleased walking out!

Dr. Ajao was very clear and concise in presenting information, used a lot of visuals and metaphors to get his point across. That really helped me better understand what was going on. He was delightful.

Dr.Ajao explained things in a manner no doctor has ever did before. More importantly, he listened to me talk like no other doctor has done before. He was extremely knowledgeable and had the best bed side manner. He asked a lot of detailed questions about my medical history and actually listened! Once Dr. Ajao explained everything to me, I felt confident and comfortable that the best thing to do was to cancel my upcoming surgery. Dr. Ajao took his time discussing my previous/current medical history, prior surgeries, and medications. Dr. Ajao knew my medical history coming into my first appointment, which many doctors never have clue about. That in itself made me trustful of him because he clearly reads about his patients prior to meeting them, which to me is incredibly important. He was able to discuss and explain all my options in detail as to next steps. He explained my condition in a way that is simple to understand. He listened to everything I had to say about my symptoms and how I was feeling. After many years being dismissed by doctors, not feeling understood or heard, and constantly trying to advocate for myself, I finally felt validated with Dr. Ajao. I am looking forward to next steps and trust in his abilities as a surgeon.
