I am very impressed with Dr. Specht. I came to this visit with a list of questions, but didn't have to ask any, because from the start Dr. Specht covered all(!) my questions in her introduction and thorough description of what my coming procedure and care would be, what I should do and expect from it. She gave me confidence and knowledge, and I'm very grateful to her.

He just spoke and the interpreter translated, and when I wanted to explain, the doctor didn't pay attention, she didn't respect the pain I feel in my breasts because of the cysts. She said that all women feel pain and that it goes away after a few years, and that she wasn't going to include me in the surgery because I have a mammogram next year and since it's not a cancerous cyst, she wasn't going to operate on me. She gave me a homeopathic prescription to take for the pain and said something else and left the room. The next day I woke up in a lot of pain and ended up feeling sad and disappointed with her decision, for not respecting and minimizing the pain I feel in my breasts because of the cysts. Therefore, I don't have a good opinion of her as a doctor [redacted].

I have been very impressed with the breast care at the Avon Center. I had a lumpectomy in [redacted] and I continue to have my yearly mammogram there along with my visit with my surgeon Michelle Specht. I also see Dr. [redacted] my oncologist. They take time with me, I never feel rushed. The nurses in that department are great, too. Always take the time to help and answer questions.

Dr specht is a credit to her profession. She knows how to interact with her patients in a caring and professional manner. She is knowledgeable and exudes confidence without being unapproachable. Outstanding experience with this provider. Overall the experience walking into MGH is chaotic with multiple active construction sites. More signage on where to head (into the buildings) from the street would be helpful. Interior spaces should offer calm and an ease of navigating where to go, because walking in from outside coming in is loud, hectic and requires navigating around the construction vehicles and boarded up areas.

Dr. SPECHT administers a very well coordinated department (team). Everyone is highly skilled and knowledgeable. Dr. SPECHT listens and responds all through the consult. Everyone from mammogram, ultrasound, aspiration, and reception showed total concern for my issues. Simone, my contact is a very pleasant and helpful scheduler. The interventional radiologist is an amazing physician with great skill. I feel I'm being well cared for by Dr. SPECHT and the team.

Dr. Specht and her team are amazing! From the moment I stepped into the office until the time I left I was treated with kindness and compassion. Everything is explained and any questions that I had were answered in a manner which made me feel very confident that I was in the right place.

[redacted] I met with Dr. Michelle Specht who entered the room with a warm engaging smile and I felt comfortable immediately. Dr. Specht informed me that she would be doing a Lumpectomy [redacted]. She went over all the details and showed me a visual of the progression of DCIS cells which was very helpful. More information followed regarding type of anesthesia, length of surgery, recovery, meeting with two additional doctors after surgery re information for other possible follow-up. All in all (under the circumstances), this was a positive experience and I could feel the compassion from [redacted] RN and Dr. Specht as they helped walk me through this unexpected challenge in my eighties after a lifetime of excellent health.

It's hard to say too much. I mean, the experience so far has been very positive, but we just had some initial meeting and waiting to get test results. So, so far, so good.

This was by far the best patient experience I have ever had. From facility appearance and cleanliness, to front office friendliness and helpfulness, to the amazing experience I had with Dr. Specht. I have never had a new provider know my medical history completely without me having to tell them. I am blown away by how amazing everyone is at the oncology center and would recommend anyone go there.

The receptionist is the nicest caring individual. She makes a scary place not so scary. The MD was also very kind and she listening to all of my concerns and was very helpful.
