Michael L Dougan, MD, PhD

Dr Dougan has been my GI for 6 years. He is an amazing physician and has listened to my concerns and questions from the beginning. He takes his time during our appointments to make sure he's addressed any questions I may have. I have never felt rushed during an appointment with him. He is caring and detail oriented. I am so grateful he is my GI doctor. He loves his job, and it shows in his constant interest and study on the topic(s) (celiac & EoE) as well as his amazing empathy and concern for his patients. I always get a response either from him or one of the nurses on his team regardless of how I reach out (Patient Gateway or phone call). He is an amazing doctor.

Dr. Dougan provided a functional cure for my disorder. It changed my life. I can't say enough good about my experience over the last few years.

I was very appreciative that the doctor agreed to convert my initial visit to telehealth, after a major snowstorm hit the area and I was unable to travel from Connecticut to the appointment. The telehealth appointment didn't feel rushed and the doctor has been super responsive when I've sent him messages through the portal.

This was my 1st visit with Dr. Dougan who was excellent. I had a serious adverse reaction to immune therapy for stage IV melanoma, likely due to underlying lifelong autoimmune conditions. It is very helpful/reassuring to have Dr. Dougan on board.
