I was very appreciative that the doctor agreed to convert my initial visit to telehealth, after a major snowstorm hit the area and I was unable to travel from Connecticut to the appointment. The telehealth appointment didn't feel rushed and the doctor has been super responsive when I've sent him messages through the portal.

He's very good about making sure I check in with him at least once a year and talking about what next steps there are. He's very clear about any medications I need to take. Dr. Dougan is a wonderful doctor and I am grateful he is in charge of my gastro-intestinal care. He is thoughtful, patient, and willing to openly discuss all options available. The nurses were great, accommodating, and communicative. My only issue to raise was scheduling. I had used the patient gateway to request an appointment but did not receive a response. After about 2-3 weeks I had to call to schedule an appointment. This was the only challenge but otherwise the care provided was great.

Dr. Dougan was extraordinary with his time, explanation of every aspect of my care, and plans for follow-up. I was so impressed with his bedside manner and thoughtfulness throughout my appointment. I'm so happy to have transitioned my GI care to him.

My experience with Dr. Dougan over the last couple of years has been great. He is a very thorough and thoughtful doctor and I always feel comfortable when I go see him for my GI related issues.
