I felt rushed. Doctor was abrupt. I told him I was treated for ear infection by primary care doctor a month ago, and he became annoyed with me because I didn't follow up with her. I explained that I had ongoing issues with my ear and I wanted to see a specialist. Appointment was less than five minutes. Stressful experience.

The doctor was prompt and professional we felt he was in a hurry and rushed the appointment felt like it was not worth going as he just noted the internal nose that had been cauterized was healing and there was nothing more to do. My father has had 3 severe nosebleeds and we were hopeful that there was something more to do to prevent further bleeds in the future. The doctor suggested Allegra which we are taking now. Thank you

Dr Fattal is as great! He removed the wax from both my ears. My right ear was a little more challenging because the wax was a little deep. He got it all out.

This procedure required implements for earwax removal that were not pleasant. Checking in with the patient a bit on their comfort level would be appreciated.

I was disappointed that Dr. Fattal Never acknowledged who I was [redacted]. I felt he had no understanding of who I am. He never asked if I was having any hearing issues.

Dr. Fattal, specifically was a fast talker who really didn't have anything helpful to say regarding my issues - [redacted] In general, I felt his bedside manner to be flip & a bit condescending. I left this appt feeling like "what just happened"? He ushered me out with a card to see an allergist.

I was scheduled an appointment very fast that was helpful to me and the staff was couteous. My office visit with Dr. Fattal was very thorough and helpful discussing what I needed to do to stay on course.

Dr Fattal saved my hearing in one ear that completely disappeared overnight. He quickly prescribed a steroid and within 2 days I began to regain hearing in that ear. Had he not acted on this so quickly, my hearing loss would have been permanent. I am very grateful for his expertise!

Top quality care

I thought the doctor and the audiologist were great and thorough. Understanding the provider was a bit difficult because he was a fast speaker and wore a mask (understandably). But, as someone with hearing issues, I rely on lip reading to compliment what I hear, especially with fast speakers. This was a bit difficult to deal with when I came in for hearing issues.

I felt Dr. Fattal is a very, very capable doctor. I went to see him to consult about a potential thyroid surgery. I ended up choosing a different doctor, but not because of any downside of Dr. Fattal, except for the fact that his training is more as a generalist and the person that I selected has exclusively focused on the type of surgery that I need, not one among many types of surgery. So that was my reason for making my choice. And I would recommend Dr. Fattal. He seems very, very capable.

Knew my diagnosis exactly

I felt like he I was in a Marathon. He flew in, did a very fast check of my records and a few quick questions and quickly put a scope in my nose and throat. I had to ask him to repeat what he said about my throat. He said it so fast, I couldn't understand. It was the quickest appointment I have had with a practitioner. It seems that he was in and out of the room in 3 minutes flat! I did not feel cared for at all. He may be a very good doctor but he did not leave any room or time for questions. It seemed that he would not want to allow the time.

I was disappointed that this provider did not even look at my X-rays. He dismissed them as having been unnecessary without even seeing them.

Dr. Fattal was very personable and made me feel comfortable during a visit that was scary for me. He saw me right away (I didn't even sit down in the waiting room) and explained everything I needed to know about next steps for my care. I believe I had a good appointment with this doctor although I feel as if he seemed to rush through and seemed the need to rush. It did go well.

The doctor seems somewhat rushed during the time he spent with me. And I was hoping to, I was in for a blockage in my ear and I was hoping to get some advice and counsel as to how I might go about avoiding it in the future. And there was really no, perhaps there is no substantive ideas that he could share, but it was, you know, come in and have them cleaned out every three months. Didn't doesn't seem like it's going to be a properly addressed the problem.

I appreciated that when I got there for my first visit, he had already reviewed all of my notes and history and is setting up a plan of care.

The provider spent about a minute and a half with me after having gone over my medications, probably three minutes in the office altogether, and I have no answers to why I'm having so much pressure in my ears. I have no wax in my ears, but why do I have pressure problems? Yeah.

Dr Fattal asked questions and provided treatment for me. He asked me to return in two weeks to evaluate my ear issue.

A very good experience

The provider's time spent in physical examination was suboptimal.

My PCP suggested me to see an ENT doctor for fluid found in my recent brain MRI. I got an appointment with Dr. Fattal pretty quickly. He not only checked me in his office, but also consulted with another doctor after my appointment, by looking through my current and previous MRI images. He sent me a followup message to assure me later. I feel he is very responsible, and I am so grateful to him!

He was very nice and professional and explained his findings clearly, but didn't really show any interest in my history of ear infections and swimmer's ear. I wish he had had all the history from past appts related to my ear so he could have reviewed them instead of my having to try to justify my concerns. I still have pressure behind my ear drum which remains unexplained. I trust the doctor that there is nothing seriously wrong, I just wouldn't have minded if he'd been able to explain to me why I had that pressure. I will see him again in a year - per his suggestion - and hope that if the pressure is still present that I may learn more then.

I was referred to him by Emerson Urgent Care in Maynard regarding an on-going ear issue. When I met with him he seemed disappointed that I was there and would have rathered that I have been seen by my primary first. He then quickly looked in and compared both ears and told me that I was fine. The ear problem still persist so I suppose it will go away over time? After I left, I had to ask for my exit papers (from a very nice secretary to actually know what happened in the appointment as it felt like I met with him for 5-10 minutes. I don't know if this factored in to my time with him but I stutter and tend to stutter around new people worse. I am sure he is a great doctor and maybe just had a bad day [redacted]. Sorry.

The provider [redacted] did not let me speak whatsoever. Speak spoke over me. [redacted] Came in, was very short and quick and did not look me in the eye for the entire 14 minutes or so that I was in his seat or during talking. Soon as he was done, took the gloves off and walked out of the room. Absolutely unbelievable.

I went in for a problem I was experiencing in both ears. The doctor was clearly competent and did address and treat the problem in one of my ears issues effectively. He examined the other ear and said it looked completely normal. But I have still been experience the problem in that ear since the visit. I that because there as a clearly visible problem in one of the ears, he didn't want to, or felt too rushed to deal with the other ear.

I absolutely love Dr Fattal and the whole staff. Thanks to Dr Fattal I was set up with an awesome surgeon in Boston for removal of polyps on my vocal cords. Dr Fattal has the pleasure of seeing me every year, lol.

Entire process was smooth and well organized. I arrived on time, was signed in immediately and was led to the doctor's office even before I could sit down in the waiting room. Nurse sat down with me immediately and asked/entered the answers to her questions. Doctor came in almost immediately after she was done. Listened carefully to what I said and asked appropriate questions. We agreed on a plan to address my issue. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes, and felt I was given the time and care that I needed.
