Everyone in the clinic was wonderful, but Dr. Megan Welch was really superb. Her excellence in delivery of care cannot be compared to anyone. She's very thorough with your history. She cares about what you've been through. She has a great plan of care for you going forward. And she just has a very holistic whole, looking at you as a whole person in her treatment of you. And it's just really clear that she cares about her patients, is excellent in her cardiac knowledge, and is there to do the very best she can for her patients. I had a great experience with her, and I look forward to continuing to see Dr. Welch.

Dr Welch is by far the best MD I have ever had. I was a nurse for 45 years and have vast experiences with physicians and she by far has been outstanding.

Dr. Welch was perfect. It is the 1st time I have seen her as my prior cardiologist is no longer at MGH. He was great [redacted] and she had tough shoes to fill. But Dr. Welch is equally as kind, thorough, knowledgeable and insightful. I felt she looked as me as a whole human being, not just things that pertain to my heart function.

Dr. Welch was awesome - as a new patient, I appreciate she took the time to first listen to me and understand me, balancing talking with me while also reviewing my medical history and charts. She then did an assessment and made a gameplan with me, including thoughtful discussion around steps I can take and what to do next. Absolutely great and I hope she will be at MGH a long time so she can be my cardiologist for many years to come!

Yes, Megan was very informative. She was very accommodating. She was never rushed. She took the time to listen to what I had to say. And between the two of us, we put things together and she figured out what was going on. And if it had not been her for taking the time and doing her thing, I would probably still be sick. So I thank her very much. Bye-bye.

This doctor put me at ease and recognized why I dreaded cardiologists. I felt she really took the time to get to know as much pertinent info as she could and also said she'd reviewed my prior images to see if she could determine anything more. I am so happy to have found her!

She was very professional and skilled in her work but her office scheduled this as a virtual visit which was not what she or I had preferred. This visit was for chest pains which needed to be treated in person so now I have to schedule another visit with her or another doctor.
