The doctors and staff at this visit arrived at a treatment plan that resolved my excruciating pain, and started me on an effective path to recovery. I am exceptionally grateful and appreciate their compassionate care.

He was not adequately familiar with my medical history.

  • Reviewed on 11/15/2025

I found the doctor to be exceptional, to better explain and take more time to listen to my concerns and to conduct a better procedure and with less pain than any I had felt in the past.

Dr Hsia-Kiung was very thorough and explained in detail. [redacted]

I was treated with the utmost disrespect by the provider. He only saw my weight, completely dismissed my pain, and essentially told me to starve myself because my pain was caused completely by my weight.

Kind, understanding, very humane treatment with me, very empathetic, ultimately a professional. It only took one consultation for me to realize that he practices his profession out of love and vocation. He knows how to listen, he knows how to understand and he knows how to explain things clearly and precisely. I felt very comfortable with him and his assistant; she is also very professional.

Dr. Hsia was very professional and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. He answered my questions and made me feel more comfortable.

I was admittedly nervous about the procedure. But my nervousness was quickly calmed.

  • Reviewed on 7/18/2025

Seemed caring and interested. I spent much more time with a fellow than with the MD which was disappointing.

Dr. Hsia-Kiung seemed to be an extremely knowledgeable and very competent doctor. He gave me the feeling that he was the top expert and that I was in the right hands. However, it's a pain clinic and I am a pain patient with a chronic pain condition and his extreme hostility and dogmatic opposition to opiate medications is a factor to be considered and somewhat off-putting. despite the frequent, overly frequent reminders that he was not judging me for taking those medications. And it does make me think about the difficulty of doing surgical procedures with a doctor that won't prescribe adequately for pain medication.

Two associates saw me for about 15 minutes and were optimistic about a new procedure to reduce my pain. Dr. Hsia then walked in 15 minutes later and informed me -in a somewhat rude manner - that nothing could be effective. ??? End of meeting.

Excellent! I felt very comfortable and he answered all my questions. Very friendly

  • Reviewed on 6/10/2025

The doctor (and the resident) was knowledgeable about my medical history. He was very thorough when discussing the problem and what we could do moving forward, gave me the names of some topical over the counter medicines that might help, gave me the number of the neurology department to have me connect with a neurologist, and changed my neuropathy medication. I felt like I was in great hands.

The doctor was wonderful. He explained my problem and the procedure that he will perform. I was thrilled with him.

Dr. Hsia-Kiung was very professional and thorough. He asked several questions and replied with responses that made me feel comfortable with him. He explained the procedure that would help my problem and asked if I agreed with it. I asked him several questions regarding having an ESI in my neck and he provided answers that I could easily understand.

The physician explained the procedure very well and he is an expert in-doing stellate ganglion block. The physician did the procedure under fluoroscopy and explained again all the visualized objects and is able to complete in very minimal time. He made sure patient had no discomfort. Thank you.

I trust Dr Hsia, and when dealing with spinal injections, that's no small thing. I find him sincere, caring, capable, responsive. Great calming manner, as well.
