Provider was very thoughtful and supportive as we talked about the issues and what I should do. After the visit provider talked again with radiology and called me several hours later to again discuss decisions. I feel very looked after.

I truly appreciated Dr. P's candor. I have a complicated case and he didn't try to sugarcoat that. He provided several scenarios and potentially working with other surgeons. That gave me the perspective that his first priority was the outcome of surgery for my quality of life, he was less focused on how ( or if) the surgery should proceed.

Dr and PA explained the surgical procedure and answered all my questions. They both were very knowledgeable and thourgh.

As a nurse practitioner, I've worked with many physicians, and having recently been diagnosed with stage one lung cancer, I find Dr. Pommerening to be the most compassionate, kind, understanding, really incredible surgeon. He was absolutely fantastic, and I look forward to my appointments with him. He always explains everything thoroughly, He's very honest, he's very kind, and he really is one of the best.

Dr. Pommerening is an empathic surgeon who is very generous with his time. He patiently explains in layman's terms complicated medical procedures. I feel quite fortunate having him as my thoracic surgeon.

He took time discussing the tests, the next steps, and things I needed to be aware of concerning my cancers. Also any concerns he might have with any potential surgery. When we finished, I felt very good and comfortable with out future options.

Yes, the doctor, the nurses, especially the receptionist that did my intake. I was totally, totally appreciative of the process and I would recommend it to anyone. It's just they really calmed me a bit and really showed me how to do things. I appreciate it.
