I've been seeing Mark Matza over the last couple years and he has really helped me alleviate this PMR condition that I have through various medicines, Brednisone and Kevzara. And I have to say that he's got a great bedside manner. He is just a personable guy who you can really speak to on on a certain level that really relates to me. And we just get along very, very well. And he's an excellent, excellent doctor. I would highly recommend him and I think the world of him.

Dr. Matza is as fine a physician as I have ever dealt with. I consider myself extremely fortunate that I am under his care. His expertise in a rather esoteric disease, Giant Cell Arteritis, is matched by his selfless care in focusing on my individual needs and concerns. He is a great doctor.

I was very happy to see Dr. Matza. I had recently finished taking medication for gout and figured I was done with it. One look at my foot and the Dr. told me that I still have gout. He proved it to me showing an ultrasound on my foot and I could see the crystal floating all around my foot. The Dr. put me back on a couple medications and scheduled me back in a month. He was so knowledgeable and professional

I'm very disappointed with Dr Matza. I've been experiencing chronic pain for multiple years and I asked another doctor to refer me to him because I've had other symptoms that may be autoimmune in nature. Dr Matza was completely dismissive and didn't seem to have any understanding or suggestions for me. As a patient experiencing chronic pain that won't go away, the mental work it takes to advocate to a doctor is immense. It's so frustrating to wait so long to see a doctor and get so little help or care back.

This was my first visit with Dr.Matza. Dr. Matza was completely familiar with my previous history of IGG4. He gave me a thorough physical examination to check for any new symptoms or swellings. He answered my questions about my concerns regarding stiffness in 2 digits of my hand after sleeping, dry mouth, periodic sensitivity at my neck surgery location, sleeping habits, and recent weight gain. All concerns were addressed and advice / explanations given . Based on the physical examination, Dr. Matza stated that no blood work was needed, at this time. I was very pleased with this visit, especially that my IGG4 has remained stable.
