Dr Marie Gerhard-Herman is an excellent physician. I have been a patient of hers for several years and she is always thoughtful, knowledgeable. She is very interested in my health and my life. She is realistic with information and makes suggestions and hold me accountable when I may not eat the proper things. She has a great sense of humor, and tolerates my laundry list of questions!

Dr. Gerhard-Herman has provided me with exceptional care for almost 20 years after i was first diagnosed with DVT in [redacted]. She is always patient, supportive and caring and listens to my questions.

I do not think a nurse was necessary for this visit. The MA did as she was supposed to do and summon the provider after. Provider as always was pleasant and approached every aspect of her care with thoroughness.

I fully appreciated the call I received from Dr. Gerhard-Herman the day prior to my visit. I am seeing a cardio doctor at MGB and the information in the gateway was not clear to her what I was seeing her for. I was impressed and comforted by her genuine concern that I should be coming to her.

I have tremendous confidence and respect in Dr. Gerhard-Herman's expertise and care. She is clear in reporting test results, reassuring and straightforward, always has a practical tip for staying healthy. She makes you feel as if you are her most important patient.

Dr. Gerhard-Herman reviewed my recent history and conducted a PE. In additional to her clinical expertise she was warm and caring and had a clear plan for treating my recent diagnosis of mild cardiomyopathy.

It was fine.

She was the ultrasound tech checking blood flow in my carotid arteries. Very friendly and explained the procedure and made sure I was comfortable.

It is my privilege to be a patient of Dr. Gerhard. I feel seen as a whole human being, rather than a collection of symptoms.

She is careful and cautious with making medication changes and also considers how those changes can affect my daily life (i.e., meds that increase fatigue are carefully weighed). Dr. Gerhard enters the room like she is receiving a guest . She then reviews my health over the last 6 months. She's already read my EKG taken immediately as I arrived and her physical examination includes my Raynaud Syndrome which I see her for as well. I always feel relaxed, never feel "rushed" , and I know I'm "in good hands"!!!

Dr. Marie Gerhard-Herman, MD and Dr. [redacted] gave me a a thorough examination. What impressed me most was each doctor read my whole history prior to my visit. Lately, I have been experiencing many issues all at once. The pain in different areas of my body exhaust me to the point I have to stop whatever I am doing to rest. Each doctor showed empathy, sympathy and understood all I am going through. After my examination they collaborate with each other for a diagnosis. Both doctors are lovely. Many Blessings.

Dr. Marie Gearhart-Herman is perhaps one of the most conscientious, caring cardiologists on the staff at Brigham and Women's. I've known her for many years and she has never failed me in any respect. Done. Hello? I can't remember how I'm supposed to end this.

My provider wasn't the nicest but she wasn't mean. She didn't necessarily listen to my concerns. I tried to explain the scope of my problem and what my PCP said, and she told me she didn't care what my PCP said, only what she said about the issue. I didn't feel listened to and don't feel like I have a plan of moving forward even though I have a follow up in 6 months.

I asked to pivot to a telehealth call, even though this was scheduled in person. She was understanding but didn't really have the tech working. Which is totally fine for me. I vastly prefer having my initial boundaries respected and I feel like I learned some new things about my health.

Dr Gerhard-Herman continues to provide me with the best care I have ever received from a doctor. She is highly professional. She carefully and thoughtfully listens and explains. She exhibits great warmth and empathy.

Appointment barely 5 minutes long. After telling me how big the growth is referred me to cardiac surgeon. Saw provider in ER so very familiar with issue and a number of the questions really not relevant. Very understanding of other issues going on which need to be resolved first.
