[redacted] it was my first time seeing Dr. Ortega and I was so grateful to get a quick visit with him and the nurse was lovely and he was great, efficient and can't wait to go back because I know I'm going to have to go back and see where I go from here. A wonderful man.

I feel like the provider was very knowledgeable, I think, and he was nice, but I felt like I wasted my time going to that appointment because he had me come in just for him to tell me I need another appointment. So I just feel like I didn't need to go to that appointment. I feel like that is a telehealth appointment, where he could have simply done that over the phone or something, because yeah, that was it. So I drove all the way into Boston just for them to tell me I need another appointment for the bladder, whatever he called, bladder test. So I just hoped out a little bit much.

I found Dr. Ortega very easy to deal with. His calm, soft spoken manner made it comfortable to ask questions as well as his eye contact in listening to my concerns. It was the same with his answers. Very approachable. I felt very fortunate that I had him as my doctor through this experience. When a nurse tells you he is very easy to work with and the anesthesiologist tells you he is a true gentleman, those are high compliments. He is an exceptional testament to the medical profession and Mass General is lucky to have him on the staff.

Hi, yes, Dr. Marcus Ortega, I've been with him for a couple appointments throughout 2025 trying to solve my bladder incontinence and he has been nothing but responsive, caring, and he's now going forward with a full evaluation to help me and he's very open, he's very caring. Throughout this year, he's called me personally, has written to me, and I think he's an exceptional doctor.

The procedure was well explained and my comfort and understanding was importsnt to her. I didnt feel rushed in the least and I felt she cared about how I was feeling.

What I appreciate about Dr. Ortega is that he went to bat for me with my insurance company to get them to cover a medication I really wanted to take. The medication is Gemtessa, and he worked to get it covered for me through the appeal process.

Yes, Dr. Ortega has been my doctor for now probably going on two years. And during this time, he has always honestly tried to help me in any way that he could. In fact, he even talked about when he went to a conference and how he especially attended this one session because he thought that it might be able to help me. So I really feel that you get your individual attention from him. He's always honest, doesn't always tell you maybe what you want to hear, but it's the honesty and it's the care that is provided by him that has been so helpful to me. I'd rate them a 10 in anything.
