Hi, Marcela is one of the best doctors I ever seen in my entire life. She was one of the best.

My experience with Dr. Del Carmen just continues to be amazing, excellent, top-notch. There are not enough words. She is clear, she's thoughtful, she's compassionate, she draws diagrams so that I fully understand what she's talking about. She is just, I can't say enough wonderful things about how confident I am in the care that I'm receiving and how exceptional of a provider she is. We feel so lucky.

Dr. Marcela Del Carmen is probably the best doctor I have ever encountered. She was so kind, attentive, compassionate, and comforting. Her knowledge and ability to explain things is unmatched. She made me feel like I am in the best hands possible. I feel so grateful that she is my doctor for the issue I am going through. She truly is a gift to her patients and a tremendous asset to the medical profession and to Massachusetts General Hospital.

Both doctors were very professional and knowledgeable. They treated with respect and compassion. I have complete confidence in them. Doctors nurses and all staff were very considerate and responded to any concerns and answered any messages in a timely fashion. Im am very impressed with this practice.

Dr. Marcela del Carmen is wonderful, very kind, and professional in every way. The nurses are helpful, explain things, and are friendly. The whole team is empathetic. The only person who wasn't very empathetic was the one who took my blood samples in the lab; perhaps because of the workload and the speed at which she had to work, she couldn't be particularly kind that day. But overall, I'm very happy to be in the hands of such a professional team as Dr. Marcela del Carmen. Thank you.

Dr. Del Carmen is compassionate , kind, caring and spends time with her patient and listens to what you have to say. She is always a pleasure to see and I know I'm in competent hands and being given the best possible care.

Dr. Del Carmen is an excellent doctor. I've been followed by her for some time. She remembers everything. She's absolutely excellent in every way. She listens and she hears what you say and she is just full of information and most of all, she's kind and lovely and just very sweet the way she talks about difficult subjects with me. I couldn't be happier that I'm her patient. She's wonderful in every way. I'm very confident, especially since I have to have surgery and everything. She's just been terrific all the time. She hasn't changed at all since I started with her quite a long time ago. She couldn't be better in every way. She's a great listener.

I was very nervous and the physician put me at ease. I trusted her from the beginning.

Dr. Del Carmen is extremely professional and she really takes, I mean, you can tell she genuinely cares for her patients. She takes the time to explain things to you. She puts you at ease. She's just fantastic. Everyone I've come into contact with in her office has been, and also the OR staff six weeks ago, everyone has been just great and just so helpful and just very, you know, explaining things in detail and everyone's been just great. Can't say enough good things.

The visit was excellent. Dr. Del Carmen was incredibly well informed, knew a lot of information about genetic connections, about all sorts of information that I needed to know to make an informed decision about my next steps in my care. I felt well heard. I felt well cared for. And the same with her nurse, [redacted], also very very considerate and respectful and I just had a wonderful visit and feel that I am in good hands.

Doctor was excellent. Knew the details of my case. Asked good questions to understand me better, and allowed me plenty of time to ask my questions. Was very clear in explaining my condition and options for treatment. I appreciated that she explained the pelvic exam before and during the process and described her findings as well as checked in on my comfort level. Was very professional and demonstrated expect level knowledge/experience yet showed kindness and humanity. Very thorough. I feel I am in great hands.

Both my daughter and I were so comforted by Dr. Del Carmen at the surgical consult we had on July 1. She took the time to explain everything I will go through before, during and after surgery in a way that I understand what to expect. She was empathetic and thorough which are very important to me and my daughter [redacted]. I have been a patient with docs at MGH for over [redacted] years and had the very best of the best in care. Dr. Del Carmen is at the very top of that list. She is a healer. I am grateful to be her patient.

From the very first minutes when I came to speak with Dr. Del Carmen in her office, I felt in my gut that I would choose Dr. Del Carmen to be my surgeon. She patiently explained, step by step, what the operation would entail, asked if I understood what she was saying, what recuperation would look like and follow-up care, and finally did I have any more questions. She even entertained questions , by way of a conference call, with my son and my daughter. All I had to do was show up and I'm very glad I did.
