Marc Philip T. Pimentel, MD, MPH, is a practicing anesthesiologist and serves as the Associate Clinical Director for Quality in the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative, and Pain Medicine. His research interests include infection prevention, quality measurement, and perioperative safety.

Dr. Pimentel received his bachelor of arts and medical degrees at Columbia University, and he completed his anesthesia residency at BWH in 2014. He then enrolled in the Harvard Medical School Fellowship in Patient Safety and Quality, where he gained operational skills and experience in patient safety and quality while pursuing a Masters in Public Health.
