The Doctor was very attentive and was very helpful in what I was trying to accomplish. Had terrific bed side manor . And was a breath of fresh air

Dr Shapero jumped to conclusions about me and my life which I found dismissive. She lacked empathy using terms like "it's just chronic disease -You need to continue living, and finding how you can best achieve your best quality of life, given what you have so far. And at the moment, we don't have answers." Dr Shapero had never met me before- she knows nothing about me. I felt totally unheard and she looked eager to finish up the meeting and get on with other patients. [redacted]

Dr. Shapero is very thoughtful, attentive and thorough. She took the time to write everything down for me so I could fully understand the next steps to take in my care. I feel I am in the best possible hands with Dr. Shapero and the MGH Allergy team.

Dr was well acknowledged and respected and I appreciate Nurse was well aware of her job and was perfectly able to provide support to me and I really appreciated and thank you for her service and I mentioned to my Dr about it

I was very dissatisfied with my appointment with Dr. Shapero. She did not resolve two fundamental issues that I've been having with allergies especially one with my current work environment. She was free spirited about re-introducing foods that have caused serious adverse health effects. She later retracted and ordered a blood test instead After I left the appointment. I don't feel she understood personally my health, history and allergy history which has also resulted in anaphylaxis more than once. I have not been to medical school myself, but I feel she could've given more as a medical professional. [redacted]

I really liked her service; she was very patient and said she would send a message to my baby's primary doctor. I just didn't like that only a visual assessment was done - no stool test was requested, nor any exam to check for allergies, lactose intolerance, or milk protein intolerance. So I felt it was lacking in that sense, because it was just a visual evaluation, and my baby still has the same symptoms and worsening skin issues.

Dr. Shapero clearly answered all my questions, provided medical facts and cleared up some misconceptions I had, offered some options, explained what allergy tests and blood work were needed and why and how we might proceed after results were in and the timing of test returns. I left the office feeling much more informed and 'in control'. Always good to have a plan.....

Excellent doctor.

Our visit was scheduled as a routine follow-up appointment, however I was told it was the reschedule for our medication allergy challenge. The providers were very apologetic for the mix up and were able to fit us in at that time to complete the allergy challenge in office despite the scheduling confusion.

I found Dr. Shapero and the team to be friendly, professional and efficient. I only wish that I left my appointment with more actionable next steps.

She was intelligent, kind, offered me lots of valuable information, answered all my Q, pleasant, knowledgeable, didn't rush me.

Dr. Shapero struck a great balance of both reassuring me, but also not dismissing any of my concerns or questions. I had a lot of questions and she answered them all really patiently and gave me, you know, detailed explanations of not only all the topics that I came to discuss, but also on sort of, you know, more traditional allergy stuff, which I really appreciated and she was just lovely.

The care provider, doctor, I think her name is Practitioner Shapero. She was outstanding, very knowledgeable, very patient, good listener, and caring. Thank you.
