M. Zehra Ordulu Sahin, MD

Zehra Ordulu is a gynecologic and molecular pathologist at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH). She earned her M.D. from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in Türkiye in 2011 and subsequently joined BWH as a postdoctoral research fellow studying uterine leiomyoma genetics and perinatal molecular diagnostics. She completed AP/CP residency at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), serving as an AP chief resident, followed by fellowships focusing on gynecologic pathology at MGH and molecular pathology through the Harvard Medical School program based at BWH.

From 2021 to 2024, Dr. Ordulu was an Assistant Professor and Director of Gynecologic Pathology at the University of Florida, where she signed out solid-tumor next-generation sequencing, strengthened molecular pathology services and trainee education, and revised gynecologic pathology grossing and rotation guidelines. She returned to BWH faculty in August 2024.

Her clinical practice integrates gynecologic pathology with molecular interpretation of anatomic pathology specimens. She is an active educator in MGB residency and fellowship programs, Clerkship Director for the HMS Pathology Clerkship at BWH, and Assistant Medical Director for Faculty Well-Being and Enrichment. Her scholarship focuses on endometrial carcinoma, sex cord-stromal tumors, uterine mesenchymal neoplasms, and multi-omics integration in gynecologic pathology and education.
