The doctor saw me in a timely manner and he was very concerned about the reason for my visit and he actually made me aware of all the possibilities that I had and what course to take and he was extremely caring and very he gave all the attention that he had to. Thank you.

The doctor was courteous and respectful. He was very attentive to my questions and concerns. He helped me understand my health issues and gave me good advice for my diet. I was very pleased with the visit.

He was required to wear a mask but he spoke loudly enough for me to hear him well (I wear hearing aids). He was thorough but not in a rush. He had a friendly manner and knew his stuff.

Dr. Henkel is very popular, and for good reason. I always have his ear, he is really on top of the latest medical findings and practices and we have the clearest communication that I have ever had with any doctor. [redacted] I would not trade Dr. Henkel for another doctor.

As I am a new patient at this practice in Somerville I have to say I was pleasantly surprised how good a process it from the moment I called their office complaining of a flu, to my actual visit, and then follow up care, etc.

He is really concerned about my health. This is the the way I like it

Gratitude. Literally. This provider saved my life when I needed it most. Depression and anxiety took over my soul after losing my job of 20 years and people I loved dearly. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr Henkel and his team. I cannot ask for a better care team.

I've been seeing Dr. Henkel as my PCP for over 7 years, since shortly after the Assembly Row office opened. He's the third and the best of the primary care docs with whom I've shared a long relationship. Even though the location is no longer very convenient for me, I will continue to see him as long as I can. He's the best.

Dr Henkel is an excellent PCP. He explains test results and explains anything that may be confusing to me. He is a very knowledgeable and caring doctor.
