She is an excellent provider. I have been seeing her for a number of years. She's always very attuned to my situation and very respectful and very engaged and I feel extremely lucky to have her as my psychiatrist.

Listen carefully and very supportive

Although I value this provider expertise and knowledge and generally trust them, there is a mental barrier between this patient and the provider. There are question I would like to ask but I am afraid. I would like to see if there are better more helpful treatments but I feel the provider could brush me off or minimize these enquiries so I don't want to feel belittled . I have been taking exactly the same 3 meds for more than 10 years and I am not sure if they re still working. On the other hand this provider never provided any special testing any more in depth questions . I feel I always say more or less the same and the provider does not go deeper with me to better gauge how the meds really work. The provider is of course very nice well mannered, has their knowledge but I feel my visits are very formulaic.

Dr Z is amazing. A skillful and compassionate woman. She always listens and gives feedback. She makes herself available when necessary. I highly recommend her.
