Doctor Caldwell listened, explained the surgery. She's my second opinion as this would be major surgery. I do not handle pain well! She also offered thumb braces so I can stall as long as possible vs. Rushing me. Scared me.

Provider was not warm and not very reassuring. I think it was probably just a personality quirk and not necessarily that she is not a good provider. But when you're dealing with pediatric patients, I think being very warm and reassuring is very important.

The provider had access to my ER visit notes, listened to my problem, explained everything, answered all questions and was very courteous.

Dr Caldwell came up with a better solution to my care that the previous provider at a different practice.

doctor spent maybe a max of 3 minutes with me and seemed to have already made up her mind before she even saw me. offered me no help or suggestions

This care provider was absolutely not interested in my case. And what I got out of her was a rapid examination. Almost immediately I could tell that this is the type of provider that has about 10 to 12 clients per hour. So I knew it was gonna be a quickie. I don't think I had eye contact with her once. And if I started to speak, she would interrupt so that we could move along quicker. [redacted]

She made me feel very comfortable. We tried 1 treatment that may or may not work and can do a surgery if need be she was great

He was very informative, took all the time I needed to go over things, and I felt real comfortable with him.

Excellent. Second orthopedic hand issue she has cured in a single appointment. The other was Carpal tunnel release.

For one of the first questions about the timeliness of being seen, I gave it a 3 instead of a 4 only because Dr. Caldwell's schedule was running behind, but it really wasn't a problem. I probably waited longer than I've waited before, but again, it was not really a problem.

The hand surgeon that saw me was phenomenal. She was clear and thoughtful in her communication as well as understanding when my fear of needles acted up. The injection was painless and my problem was fully resolved. I've seen a lot of doctors while dealig with an unrelated chronic issue and I can honestly say this was the most pleasant and effective visit I've had in years. I'm terrible with remembering names but I really hope that hand surgeon knows how much she is appreciated.

Although the appointment was about 35 minutes late, I thought the dr. was good in explaining my situation. I explained to her that it was Ok that I had to wait as it is important to be there for the patient no matter how long it takes (within reason of course).
