My experiences with Dr. Kanu and the personnel of the Cornea Unit have always been excellent. [redacted] Dr. Kanu is the textbook definition of a caring doctor. As I have said in comments about previous visits with him, he takes the time to explain everything and shows true interest in what I have to say. He is very patient answering questions. [redacted] Even though he is busy with a hectic schedule, the communication I have heard between him and other staff members always seems pleasant and collaborative - like he is talking to a team member with equal status regardless of their role. I admire that as a retired educational administrator who always promoted such respect and dignity for everyone who contributed to the final result. So, in summary, I had another great experience with Dr. Kanu and his team. [redacted]

Dr. Kanu was thorough and fantastic! Despite running behind schedule he still took the time to explain everything thoroughly and answered all my questions. His bedside manner is excellent - very friendly.

I have left very positive comments in the past about Dr. Kanu and I continue to feel the same way. Like all doctors at MEEI, and probably most hospitals, he has a very busy schedule, yet he always takes the time to talk and ask questions. He never appears to be rushed, although I know that he has other patients waiting. He takes the time to explain everything and offer options when possible. His caring manner and friendly demeanor are true bonuses that add to his obvious depth of knowledge and the skill acquired through his education and experience. I highly recommend Dr. Kanu for his professional and interpersonal skills!

Dr Kanu was extremely professional and deposited the 2.5 hour wait for my appointment, he did not seem rushed or impatient.

Hi, this appointment was unbelievable actually. He contacted all doctors concerned in my eye thing, when it was about the cornea, the this, the that. And it was a long visit because we waited until they called back and you got the information you needed. Then we proceeded and I have a follow-up appointment tomorrow if you want to check on it.
