There was a lot to discuss and Dr. Borges took the time we needed. He was clear in explaining my scans, asked very pertinent questions and listened to my and my husband's concerns. This was as good a hospital experience as I've ever had.

Dr. Borges is an exceptional listener. He did a thorough neuro exam and took a careful history. In this time of instant imaging, these skills are often breezed over by some but they are essential in getting the complete picture. Dr.Borges reviewed his findings with me in terms that I could clearly understand.. Further tests were discussed along with the plan for how he would relay the results (phone call) He's the best!

Dr. Borges was simply fantastic. He asked lots of questions to understand my history and situation, was thorough with his examination, and walked me through his observations in great detail. This included comparing my recent MRI alongside a previous one and showing me what had changed, what is causing my pain, etc. He left no stone unturned, including in his suggestions for treatments prior to considering surgery as well as what surgery would entail if it comes to that. Honestly, this was the most thorough and helpful visit with a physician that I have ever had. I could not be more pleased with Dr. Borges and am so grateful for all the time he spent with me.

I have never in my life had such a positive, thorough, and caring experience with a hospital network literally from your custodians, receptionists, to nurses to the physicians. Your facility I believe sets what needs to be the gold standard of medical care in this country. I do not have the capacity to find the words to express my immense gratitude for the care I have so far received. It is always a difficult thing being sick or injured and having to be placed out or work for extended periods of time especially around this time of year. But everyone in your staff has made my transitions so easy, I feel like I am the only patient in the whole facility with the attention and care you provided. I live over 3 hours away but it is the smallest price to pay to receive care from you and your staff. Dr Borges is the most caring and thorough dr. I remember from my last surgery 10 years ago (very successful) his outstanding bedside manners. Most respectful experience.

He is always very focused on determining what I am doing to improve my condition. He is informative and helpful in advising me on what I can do to help with the situation. He explains the improvements he finds and what I should do to continue to improve.

Dr. Borges is a great surgeon

Dr. Borges went over my medical history, medications, allergies, and why I was referred. He gave me an examination. He went over the MRI that I had from my other neurologist that showed things wrong that my other neurologist doesn't follow. He found d it by accident looking for something else. Dr. Borges carefully reviewed it with me and showed me what wa wrong and how it could be fixed. Surgery was the option, but unlike most patients with that. for some reason I have no pain. And my symptoms that I have, could also be from the other neurological disease I have. I also have a blood disorder, and require coordination with a hematologist and he could coordinate that. I chose not to do surgery yet, where I have no pain, and I am worried about bleeding, and he said that is okay. If and when I do start having pain, or my syptoms, get worse, that I could come back to him for the surgery. So we have a plan.
