I have always enjoyed my association with Dr. Hu. She is really fine. In general, about all of the aspects of MGH, the worst is getting appointments. You don't have enough people in all the specialties. That doesn't relate to Dr. Hu, although she probably has too many patients, too. But once you're needing to see other specialists, it's not very timely. You can't go from one to the other as you would like. So that should be worked on. Thank you.

I was a few minutes late as my drive, park car and walk into the office took about 1:45 hours. I was late by 10 minutes and Dr Hu still took the visit. My recollection is that Dr Hu went over the majority of my medical concerns and did not focus much on my meds which are mostly prescribed by my neurologist. Dr Hu brought up a specialist visit that had been cancelled and ordered radiology tests. Was familiar with my sleep apnea specialist and recommended his nurse practitioner.

Yes, after walking into the office, after breaking my wrist, they treated my emergency very efficiently and got me all set up with x-rays and a doctor where my own doctor was out, doctor in the practice, Dr. Hu, and set up x-rays and got me into an ortho appointment and took very good care of me. Dr. Hu is an exemplary physician, there is not enough space on this questionnaire to describe how outstanding she is. She is patient, personable, kind, professional, empathetic, sensitive, understanding and an incredible listener. She has been my physician for decades and is the PRIMARY reason why I attend Mass General to begin with. Her expertise is off the charts and her follow through with appointments is astounding. She always makes me feel heard, comforted, seen, appreciated, listened to and informed during our meetings. She approaches my health care in a wholistic manner, dovetailing with my other providers giving me a fully comprehensive exam. I will stay at Mass General for as long as Dr. Hu practices medicine. She is extraordinary and a stellar primary care physician.
