Dr. Richardson was absolutely awesome. He came in there, he very much listened to what I had to say, my goals. We discussed, he discussed what was going to be good, bad, gave me his opinion, and gave me scaled options of what everything could look like if I didn't take the most extreme option, which to me was surgery. I am choosing the surgery route, but just all around seemed to really know a lot, but also care, spoke to me very well, talked to me, explained everything in a way that didn't make me too scared to do the surgery, and I just, everything about him I would recommend my friends to go and see him. So he was really quite awesome.

Dr. Richardson was unprepared for my first visit as a new patient. He had not read my chart to know what my injuries were and had not read my MRI scans even though they had been available in my patient portal since the Friday prior to my appointment. He also did not ask me any questions about my level of activity prior to my injury nor my goals for recovery. Instead he gave me what he called his usual "spiel" about physical therapy for a "woman my age." He also had not given much thought to how he would approach the repair of my MCL and meniscus in addition to my ACL. [redacted]

I am thankful that the schedulers were able to accommodate me and get me on Dr. Richardson's schedule so quickly on the same day my MRI resulted. Dr. Richardson was very calm and kind to me when I was so upset. He explained my injury and the options moving forward. I look forward to having surgery with him when I am able to.

Dr. Lars Richardson was awesome! Very knowledgeable and friendly. I had a very serious knee injury and bone fracture which I was sure would require surgery. But with his expert help I was able to recover without any surgery at despite several torn ligaments and the break. Everything he predicted about the healing process went just as he thought. He even referred me to Dr. [redacted] a bone specialist to make sure the bone would heal properly without surgery. I couldn't have asked for better care.

Yes, I went to see him as a second opinion because I wasn't quite confident in the first orthopedic's opinion. I'm so glad I went to him. Not only did he say something very different, which that's what I will believe him, but he also x-rayed my other knee as a comparison, which the first one didn't do. This is much better medicine. To be able to say something's normal or abnormal, you need to compare it to the other side. And that's exactly what Dr. Richardson did. Really appreciate it. I will follow up with him if things do not improve. So thank you very much.
