I was more than extremely happy with my visit with Dr. Bornikova. I was upset about a recent experience I had with the gastroenterology department. I was trying to get an appointment there after my colonoscopy and I basically was getting the runaround and she listened to all my concerns and frustrations. She offered to intervene and help if I wanted that. Even though it wasn't in her realm, she listened carefully and was very sympathetic to my needs. She also was very good about my Von Willibraun's bleeding, describing and explaining everything about that to me on previous visits. She does wonderful follow-up care and I would highly recommend her to anybody and I look forward to seeing her again in May.

I was called at 3:25 PM for a Blood Draw. My appointment was at 3:30 PM. I was called into the see the provider at 3:45 PM. I finished my visit with Dr. Bornikova at 4:00 PM. All of the Staff were efficient, Professional and Courteous.

Dr. Bornikova is a well-informed, doctor with a pleasing personality who took as much time answering my questions as was needed. I never feel rushed when I see her, and I feel confident being in her hands...

She has been very helpful in explaining what was going in with me and how we would handle taking care of the situation.

Dr. Bornikova knows my history of Von Willebrand disease. She did genetic testing last year and found out I had Type 2A Von Wiilebrand disease, which is important because if I have surgery, I will need a VWF Concentrate before and after surgery. She is currently coordinating with gastroenterology about this for when I have an Endoscopy with biopsy. I am truly lucky to have her on my team to make sure I am safe.

Dr. Bornikova has been my hematologist for a long time. She has ALWAYS from day one to the present been utmost professional, caring, understanding, easy to talk to, and moreover, responsive immediately when written to through patient gateway regarding my concerns. I would recommend her highly to any family member or friend in need of a hematologist/oncologist.
