Dedicated to education and mentorship, Dr. Tuano supports trainees at all stages and contributes to collaborative networks including the MGH Hand and Arm Research Collaborative and the Interdisciplinary Care for Amputees Network Research Team. She is actively involved in leadership roles on committees within the American Association for Hand Surgery, the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr Tuano was so professional yet I felt like she really cared. I saw her for probably a strange reason (built up scar tissue from a previous surgery on the bottom of my foot.) Although we didn't get the results we had hoped for, she was always right there to help and offer any advice. She is an asset to your staff.

Due to complications from a previous surgery, an additional surgery was required to close a wound. I'm told that the surgery was complex, and that Plastics were called in to assist with the surgery and close the wound. Dr. Krystle Tuano, I believe, was tasked with this issue and we had a good outcome. I'm grateful to Dr. Tuano and her staff for the wonderful care I received. Thank you so very much.

Dr. Tuano provided great service. It was very easy to ask questions and she definitely gave me the time that I needed. And overall, throughout this whole process, she has been great. I don't mean to exaggerate, but I think she is possibly the best doctor I've ever had. So thank her for that.
