Dr. Farhad had asked me about my symptoms and I gave him a list. Then, all he talked about was one symptom. When symptoms came up again I tried to tell him I had made notes of my symptoms on my phone, but he ended up cutting me off. I tried 3 separate times to tell him the entire list of symptoms, but he didn't listen. He just focused on the one symptom he heard. In the end he said I couldn't possibly have the condition my primary care doctor diagnosed me with because I only had one symptom of it. Again, had he listened to all my symptoms he probably wouldn't have brushed me off so easily. I don't know if he's just a blunt person with a dry personality, but he came off as if I were wasting his time. I don't mind that so much because maybe he was having a bad day or maybe he was running behind so I can look past that, but not listening to my symptoms and concerns while talking to me is less forgivable. I hope subsquent visits are better and I'm taken more seriously. The one thing I did appreciate is that he ordered further testing. Hopefully the results of the test will help him take me more seriously.

And this was the first time ever where I was referred to a specialist and they took me seriously because my neurologist did refer me to [redacted] and to [redacted] and other places where I've been. But they just acted like there was nothing wrong with me and there was nothing they could do for me and just shooed me on my way. So this was a very refreshing change and I'm extremely thankful that he said no matter what he said.

It was my first appointment with Dr. Farhad. He was most interested in my condition and asked many questions. He listened to each answer and did not act like he was in a hurry. Much appreciated.

Excellent. Perfect doctor. I would highly recommend him. I felt very comfortable with him. He was very knowledgeable. Made me feel that there was hope that he could help me. And so far, what he's recommended has worked. I liked him very much and I've already recommended him to two different people.

[redacted] He is very knowledgeable but short and not conversational. He didn't know if I had a health condition and asked me versus checking the chart. He spent most of the time looking at he computer versus looking at me and just mumbled a few questions or recommendations. I felt like all my concerns were not heard, we did not talk about non medication care or concerns. It upsetting to wait a year for an appt drive over an hour to just get that. [redacted]
