After reading all the notes from my visit with Dr Sayd I have one correction, I tested negative for the BraC1 gene mutation, my three daughters tested positive. In his notes he said that I tested positive. He was very thorough and I appreciated meeting with such a conscientious physician.

We spoke at length over several visits. Dr Syed had been recommended because of the concern that the condition of my hand might be arhumtological cause. But while they continue to weaken, it appears to be mainly driven by my periphiferal neuropathy,

He is very knowledgeable and I respect that but he dismisses my concerns which are legitimate concerns I have. Also, my pain level was/is a 10 and I was told we don't do pain management. I do believe that he not only needs to listen but he needs to hear his patients. Also a comment was made if I don't trust him then maybe I need to find a new doctor. I didn't appreciate that. When you have a chronic disease no one lives it but me. And I have legit concerns that should be respected. I'm very sorry for a negative review but it's a truthful one.

Granted this was an initial exam with Dr. Syed, I had hoped he'd have prepared himself by reading my prior medical record. Instead, he spent time asking about each medication I am prescribed. My question was about the significant pains in my body including my legs, back and shoulder(s?). [redacted] He said the pain was due to being overweight...where I recently qualify as being obese in some weight charts. He seemed less able or choosing to support me in my quest for health than he was in criticizing my weight and posture. While these may be the reason for pain, which he did not scientifically determine of tell me evidence of, Dr. Syed he offered no remedy for this phenomenon nor did he ask for a followup. He did direct his student to examine and also asked this young aspiring professional questions quizzing her in front of me. He put her on the spot and directed her in a subtle voice to input on the computer any findings she had for my issues. Frankly, I was disappointed to learn this about Dr. Syed. [redacted]
