Dr. Huang was extremely well prepared, knew my file history, even though this was the first time we had met. He was thoughtful, listened well, asked good questions, allowed me to ask questions, and gave appropriate, thoughtful, guiding responses. I was very happy with our interaction and appreciated very much his opinion on my situation and prognosis.

I met Dr. Wong at Brigham and Women's Emergency Department and then again on the 30th. He treated me like I was someone he had known for years. He was very knowledgeable about who I was and what my needs were. The overall experience was one of the better experiences I have had with a healthcare provider. Dr. Wong was amazing. Also the staff at Mass General were kind and concerned and were able to give very good direction.

Showed me my MRI images and explained them in a way I could understand (for the most part). A couple of terms went over my head, but shame on me for not asking for clarification. Also, put me at ease that my experience is not abnormal or extremely worrisome.

He understood my pain and was very sympathetic and offered several options to help me and told me the risks involved with the different options and was up front with everything.

Addressed my concern ps and explained options in a clear and concise manner. He guided me through my MRI on the screen in a way I totally understood my problem.

I like Dr. Huang. But there were some difficulties before the surgery & my understanding of the recovery from a foramenotomy. I also felt bruised after surgery in my lip and lower back. Most disappointing was no follow up phone call after I was discharged just a day later.

It was a very good provider. I had two back surgeries previously, one at [redacted], one at Brigham's. I thought that Dr. Huang was excellent, very knowledgeable and excellent.

Dr Huang was so kind and considerate to me during this consultation. I was very nervous and upset about my condition and he really understood my fears and helped me understand what needs to get done during my surgery. I am so thankful that I am under his care.

Dr. Huang is very personable and explained very thoroughly and in simple terms what happened to my neck when I fell He showed me the x-rays taken at the time and explained how the arthritis in my spine actually prevented a more dangerous outcome resulting from my fall. He explained what I should do during the next 3 weeks to insure my complete recovery and that I should see him again on [redacted] to confirm my recovery.

He recommended surgery as a possible solution if I get to the point where I cannot function, and he explained what was involved in the surgery, how long I'd be hospitalized, and how long the typical recovery takes. I came away satisfied that I had sufficient information to make a decision.
