This is [redacted] speaking. I am speaking on behalf of myself as a patient of the Mass General Hospital. As far as my primary care is concerned, Dr. Metlay and [redacted], who is his nurse practitioner, are two of the finest and nicest people that I've ever met in my life. My life has been in their hands a couple of times, and I can only say nothing but great things about both of them. Dr. Metlay is without a doubt one of the finest human beings I have ever met, and that also goes for a nurse practitioner, [redacted]. They have been nothing but nice to me, cooperative, and very, very understanding. My life has been in their hands, as I said, and I am most appreciative of the fact that I have both of them. And I cannot say enough good things about them.

Dr. Metlay is an exceptional doctor/primary care doctor. He listens and is always kind as well as being wise and knowledgeable.

My experience with Dr. Metlay was perfect. It was very efficient. He answered all the questions. He answered all my questions and he asked pertinent questions, which I was able to answer. And I was in and out very quickly and very pleased with the experience.

Dr. Metlay is a spectacular primary care physician. He comes to the appointments prepared with all of the information necessary about recent labs and anything else that's transpired between the time of the appointment and last time he saw you. He's very good about looking through trends over the course of years and an excellent diagnostician and reaches out for support from specialists as needed. I couldn't speak more highly of him.
