Dr. Konopka was great, in his looking over my knee, checking its movements and flex ability. He made recommendations for any upcoming dental work I may have and the meds to take.

I just met the doctor. He was attentive. I was comfortable during my appointment

Dr. Konopka listened to me and then explained what seems to be going on with my knees. Although I was hoping for a quick fix he gave me exercises and stretches to do, as well as using Voltaren and Advil to help with my achy knees. I can already feel a difference in my knees with the new plan.

Dr. Konopka answered all my questions and concerns. He spent ample time with me.

I have the utmost respect for Dr Konopka as a surgeon - but I felt that he couldn't get out of the room fast enough. He kept starting to get up and I'd ask another question. He would answer my question but it was quite closed ended.

Dr. Konopka and his team are outstanding and if anyone in my family ever has an issue with their knees that would require surgery I would recommend him without hesitation.

Doctor Konopka was candid about my knee arthritis and I appreciate that he was. My former doctor was not candid. He told me my knee was fine and called in a script for a steroid pac (a few times) Dr Konopka showed me the xray and went over it with me.

Explains things well and very caring

Very informative, explained everything about my condition. Provided options and opinions on the next steps in my care and explained them in detail. A friend highly recommended him and I would recommend him too.

I found Dr. Joseph Konopka very professional, very thorough, and he actually explained everything to me. I have been fighting an infection for quite a while, and he managed to get everything together, figure everything out for me, and I've had a lot of problems in the past with what was going on, and he made me feel comfortable, made me feel like he's going to take good care of me, and was very, very, very good about finding out what's going on with me. So I would recommend him to anybody, and hope to continue to see him well. Hopefully, when he finishes, I don't have to see him, but if I have to see him again, I'll be happy to. Bye.

It was very thorough over the phone we talked about all the different options N what should be done before hand He was totally great n very upfront n went over everything for me to understand

Also all the nurses and PA's that have been part of my care team...they have been outstanding, so calm and caring even when I was the cranky old lady at times...I can't say enough good things about all of them!

Meeting for the first time, he was very nice and easy to talk to. Asked questions About me and showed me where my problems were!

He was very informative about the procedure I would have and listened carefully. I was impressed with his knowledge and his assurance that I was a good candidate for surgery and the procedure that would be followed with a pre physical, etc. I was not sure about having the surgery but feel better about doing it.

I have seen Dr Konopka for the past 7 years and he has replaced both my hips. He has always been honest about what I needed to do for my own success and he has guided me through each surgery with dignity and great care. After my last surgery he sensed I was frustrated and down and he went the extra mile to make sure I received the proper care to get better. He will always attempt to find an answer whether it be something he can do or someone he can refer me to for help. I have such great respect for him and appreciate all he has done for me.

The entire team has been efficient and helpful do far

The experience was right on time and very efficent. I got the Xray neededright away and waited jus a few minutes for the doctor.

The provider entered with his mind made up. He spoke quickly, and left little time for [redacted] and caregivers to ask questions. He made reference to a radical surgery that would take away [redacted]'s existing mobility and independence. Because she could not verbally express her pain degree, he determined she had little pain. Caregivers were there to report on how she has been expressing pain, but this doctor offered them minimal opportunity to speak. This isn't the 50s to 70s when people with disabilities were given radical surgeries just to shut them up. This doctor may have good reviews, but he displayed an incredibly poor bedside manor, and an unbelievable view of [redacted]'s worth as a person, during this visit. The only positive thing that occurred was that she was referred to physiatry. [redacted]

I appreciated that Dr Konopka and his staff took time with me, watched out for my safety and respected the amount of pain my hip was giving me. Everybody was attentive and listened well. I was also grateful with the speed that Dr [redacted] referred me quickly to her colleague, once I decided my hip was not improving enough and that the quality my life was declining. EVERYBODY HAS BEEN SO KIND.

From the beginning to after the surgery, the communication was there. I knew every step of the journey what I was gonna be going through.

He replaced my hip in June things went well he has a wonderful team he works with he is very good at listening and answering questions I highly recommend him

Dr.Koponka explained things to me in a way I could understand. He listened to me and took his time with me. I was comfortable in asking questions.

We had a very informative conversation about any options and plausible outcomes. I believe that hip replacement is the most reasonable option for me. I'm still waiting for the scheduler's plan for surgery so we can inform our family and friends about my need for any support.

My experience with Dr. Konopka was very good. Quite disappointed that imaging can't get me in for a CT scan for 2 months.

There isn't really anything to say except, he is a very concerned dr. about how his patients are healing from surgery, and any other medical issue they are concerned about.
