About Joseph B Stoklosa

Joseph Stoklosa, MD, earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his psychiatry residency training at Massachusetts General Hospital/McLean Hospital. He serves as the Andrew L. Smith Clinical Director of McLean’s Division of Psychotic Disorders. Previously, he served as the assistant program director for the MGH/McLean Adult Psychiatry Residency Training Program for five years.

Dr. Stoklosa has earned local, regional, and national teaching awards for his work with medical students and residents. He is co-founder and co-director of the Clinician Educator Program for the MGH/McLean residency program, which trains residents to become clinician-educators. Dr. Stoklosa developed the clinical care on the Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder Inpatient Program to help improve the use of evidence-based treatment, including care modeled after Finland’s Open Dialogue.
