Dr Ciolino is by far the most competent and caring provider I have had the privilege to be cared for.

This visit was an excellent visit for me in the evolution of my eye care. [redacted] It was not overwhelmingly busy on this day for clinical work, so I received fabulous care. These visits are always top. A plug that I had in my right eye for maybe ten years was removed at my desire because it seemed to have been bothering me for a long time. It was not easy to remove, but Dr. Ciolino manipulated it out. He is a fantastic and favorite surgeon. Many thanks that he is at MEEI. [redacted]

Very good experience

Dr Ciolino is very knowledgable and expert in his field. Sometimes he jumps ahead to the plan without explaining exactly what is going on with my eyes but as soon as I asked him to explain everything to me, he did so. I get the sense he really cares about me and my eyesight.

MEE is the best. I receive the best care available anywhere in the world. I am totally confident in the people and the institution.

Over the last 2 years, I have sent a variety of messages via the portal. They are supposed to be read, and a reply should be made within 72 hrs as far as I understand. Routinely, it is weeks or months before I have gotten a reply, and frequently no acknowledgement at all is made.

The doctor explained everything about my corneas and answered all my questions. I considered him to be an expert in his field.

Mostly technicians did the prep. They and the Dr. were professional and caring.

Dr.Ciolino came highly recommended and he certainly met those expectations. I did have some concerns with the fellow who failed to introduce herself and when her eye exam was over turned the lights back on without warning and at what I suspect was the highest level of brightness. It was only when I reacted that she lowered them, temporarily.

He was very kind and polite and explained the procedure in a professional manner. Took the time with me.

My doctor is excellent but in the last visit I noticed he was rushed so much that it did not give me time to ask pertinent questions I had. He is always a good listener who takes time but in this visit he was not. I think it last 10 minutes.

This was a wealth of knowledge. I had no idea my condition was so bad and the Dr resurrected me that he could help me. I just wish it wasn't going to take six months to get the condition corrected. All and all I was very impressed with the level of care and kindness.

Top class doc and team and the very best outcomes I could have hoped for. Doctor Ciolino spent extra time this visit checking for any and all post-operative issues. I am extremely pleased with the team and the results. I see better now that I did when I was five years old.

Dr. Ciolino is a very favorite physician and surgeon of mine. I have been seeing him for years for dry eye disease and then cataract surgery. He is an excellent doctor in every way and is extremely busy always giving way more than expected for each patient he sees. I cannot say enough good things about him. I am so fortunate that another doctor at MGH referred me to him.

I had an optical lobe stroke [redacted]. I was trying to tell the dr that it affected my left eye. He said "that's not what you're here for. " I said "well I thought you should be aware ". No so I was very upset as the communication between my glaucoma Dr and him were completely different. I left the appointment completely disappointed!!!

He was not at all talkative and provided no help. He did not answer my questions. [redacted] I asked for diagnosis or direction which he did not give.

I appreciate how matter of fact the doctor was about my options and the progression of my disease.

All the providers on the day of my appointment treated me with complete clarity and responsibility. They kept me calm, clear, and confident. Everyone was absolutely perfect. There was coherence from beginning to end.

He knows my history and i am confident that he will do what is best for me. Yeah, Dr. Ciolino is great and I answered that. It takes time when you're there because the testing is thorough and Dr. Ciolino is thorough, so it does take time.

Yes, as always, Dr. Ciolino was very affable, very informed, interested, and always excellent in all respects. And I do want to say that it's always, despite my long distance traveling, 50 miles to Mass. Eye and Ear, that it is always an excellent experience. Thank you very much.
