Both doctors were excellent. The senior physician did a great job talking to me about questions I had. He was also very clear about next steps and explained carefully why he was recommending certain tests. It was a great interaction. I got a blood test right afterwards and it was quick and easy. I also scheuled a scan and was able to get it within a month. Overall a very good medical experience.

The doctor showed great concern for my health situation and he gave excellent advice. He suggested a CT Scan to see if I have blockage in my heart, If so, I'll definitely need to take a statin. This is an excellent idea because I tried 4 different kinds of statins, and none agreed with me. Why take medications I may not need, but the CT Scan will give me the answer.

Dr. Plutzky was absolutely wonderful. I felt very comfortable with him and I could tell he loves his job. What a nice man . Mass general Brigham should be proud to have a physician like him.

Dr. Jorge Plutsky, a cardiologist, was extremely helpful in going over my previous medical history, and then talking about my current situation, and then had great suggestions of what to do next, and he diagrammed it out on sheets of paper that exceeded four or five pages, period. He answered all of my questions and left me with a great a great outlook of what can be done for my situation, period. Very friendly, very personable, and totally trustworthy. I really appreciated my appointment with Dr. Pletsky. Thank you.

Dr. Plutzky was so thorough in his explanation backed by sitting specific research results and with a bi directional dialogue regarding possible actions, resulted in a complete shift in my mind set. Historically I have had a bias that leaned against taking medications but I am now confident that with my family history, high LDL and extremely high LP(a), that starting a 5mg statin protocol is an extremely wise decision. Dr Plutzky made me feel informed and empowered.
