Dr Salik is awesome. Explained everything about my condition. Told me about the echo cardigan I had and explained it so I could understand. I had my daughter and husband with me and answered their questions. Very caring and didn't feel rushed at all.

Dr. Salik was very attentive to my concerns and questions. He had thoroughly reviewed my history BEFORE my appointment and then went over it in detail to make sure he understood everything that had happened. He explained some complicated issues in a clear manner. I felt reassured and well informed at the end of the visit.

Took a while to get in but worth the wait

Dr. Salik is an extraordinary physician. He's incredibly dedicated to his patients, knowledgeable. I am incredibly lucky to have him as my doctor. I feel like he actually saved my life when I was going through a medical crisis, and he's been there every step of the way since then. He's extraordinary.

I was late to appt. Took 2 hrs with accidents and traffic. Doctor understood and I was seen and felt he spent enough time to explain everything to me . Also followed up on portal .

Pleasant, thorough and helpful

This was my first time meeting with Doctor Salik. He was prepared for my appointment and knew my history. He made me feel like he cared because he took the time to review my medical history prior to the appointment. He was very personable and professional. I am relieved that my experience with Dr Salik was a great one and I am happy he is my Doctor.

Dr Salik is a special cardiologist and I am lucky he is now part of my care team. He is engaging and takes the time to listen. He did not rush me and spent quality time with me. My cardiac disease is fairly new to me, and he was very reassuring, answering all my questions. He needed to consult with one of my other providers and promised to message me with the plan, which he did later that day. Dr Salik is a doctor who is patient centric and I feel very safe in his capable hands.

In addition to being a superb doctor (as are all my many doctors at MGH!), Dr. Salik cares about his patients, and is very personable.

The issue that I went to see Dr. Salik for is something I've been dealing with since 2020. Over that time, I've seen multiple specialists, multiple doctors, and I have to say that none of them had provided the level of concern, care, empathy, and understanding that Dr. Salik did. He clearly knew my case, the history. He even went so far as to tell me about how he studied my case over the weekend, which seemingly would be his own time. But then when I was in the office with him, his compassion level was extraordinary and his knowledge equally is extraordinary. And I left there feeling extremely comfortable, which is something that I haven't experienced in the last five years of dealing with this. So it was just amazing. And I'm very hopeful that moving forward, he'll be able to help me with what's going on in my health right now.

It also made it clear that if he had looked at the charts, the previous exams in my medical history in the six months between last time I was in the hospital and when I saw the doctor in Boston, he would have been able to tell the same thing that he told me that morning at the appointment, that my test results did not show any sign of the reason that I was there.
