Dr. Jonathan Abraham completed his medical degree at Harvard Medical School and a PhD in Biophysics at Harvard University, his residency in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and then entered an Infectious Diseases Fellowship in the Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital combined program.
Dr. Abraham joined the faculty in 2017 and is now an Assistant Professor of Microbiology at Harvard Medical School. His research focuses on understanding how emerging viruses interact with the host cells and immune systems of the individuals they infect, with the goal of using this information to develop new treatments and vaccines.
