Dr Warner was inclusive and courteous and I appreciated the fact that he 1) described my medical situation to me and showed me my shoulder x-rays in detail; and that he 2) found an immediate session for me with [redacted] at PT.

Dr. Warner was awesome.. he explained what was going on with my shoulder explained the MRI keeping it easy to understand. Gave me confidence going forward.

I had shoulder surgery 8 years ago from Dr Warner and it worked great on my right shoulder now I had him looking at my left shoulder for a failed surgery from a other Dr and he told me what was wrong by looking at some mri that I brought with me when I met with him there's a very good chance I will see him again for my left shoulder

[redacted] My husband & I were quite impressed with Dr. Warner. He explained the scan & x-ray of my shoulder, he gave me options in regards to surgery. Dr. Warner will inform me if the surgery can be done after he studies my case. If I have the surgery I definitely will have Dr. Warner perform my surgery.

Dr Warner explained everything in detail and listened and responded to my concerns.

I was extremely pleased with the amount of time I was given, the lengths to which the provider went to identify the specific issues he observed with respect to my shoulder and the treatment options available to me.

The care I got was absolutely outstanding

Dr. Warner had studied the history of my shoulder problem and prior surgery. He answered all of my questions and informed me of the best plan. He explained the surgery he advised me to have and has told me to think about it. I thought he was excellent.

Dr. Warner is exceptionally knowledgeable and personal and an excellent doctor. I look forward to having surgery with him in a few months.

Dr.Warner was very attendive and knowledgeable about how potential surgery could/would be helpful to my shoulder pain. He also referenced data from other surgeries that he and his colleagues have performed. This info is helpful as I make a final decision.

My sister had been seeing Dr. Warner for years and she always got fabulous results and I must say in my one visit with him I did as well

I was there for a second opinion on my shoulder. He knew nothing about my history. I mostly go to Lahey for my other appointments, etc. I saw another doctor at MGH a few months back for a different matter. She knew all about my prior history from just looking it up before I got there.

Doctor Warner is an exceptional doctor with great experience and knowledge of shoulder issues. I feel fortunate that he is a member of my care team.

John Warner did an excellent job. He replaced both of my shoulders different times, but each time everything was precise, excellent work, very little scars, good operation, everything works the way it's supposed to work. He got me doing the PT on his follow-up schedule and that's been very helpful rehabbing me, getting the most out of the operation and getting the most flexibility. And anytime I've asked him a question, he's been exact on it and fully knowledgeable and he took good care of me. So I very much appreciate it and he did a great job. So I'd give him an A, A plus. This provider is a very skilled surgeon. I would recommend for his skill. I felt dismissed following the surgery. [redacted] I was evaluated virtually for the rest of my care. [redacted] Questions were possible but I did not feel heard. He had a list of his own questions to guide the conversation. His primary focus was if I was better than before surgery. That is not the only consideration.

I was called in for an X-ray shortly after I arrived. She was very kind. I met the doctors assistant after and he and the doctor were great !

Dr Warner is the best

I had a very short time with Dr. Warner. I spent most of my time, I'd say 95% of the time, with the PA or somebody before him. And he seemed very good, very competent, very thorough about asking me about my situation, and he filled in Dr. Warner before Dr. Warner came into the room.

He was on time and listened carefully to my concerns and what I had to say

I saw three different providers they were all very good.

The doctor reviewed the conditions for which we met and made an appropriate specialist referral.

He was kind and he listened. He explained everything that my shoulders needed with great care and a lot of information. The PA was wonderful and knowledgeable. I know it's going to really hurt, the correct replacement, but it already does really really hurt. Every single day. Especially if I am asleep And then move the arm. I scream in pain.

I think Dr. John Warner is very thorough, extremely experienced, highly intelligent. He knows my problems. He assesses me. He knows what needs to be done. We discuss it and we execute. I think he's great. Thank you.

Dr. Warner will perform my surgery on October [redacted], and I feel truly blessed that he can do it. Since he focuses exclusively on shoulder surgery, and I am having a rotator cuff repair, I believe that specialization is essential. I also left his office with a complete packet covering every stage, pre-surgery, surgery, and post-surgery, with more information than I had imagined. It gave me great confidence in the process and in being under his care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Warner's practice for more than 8 years and have always been fully satisfied with the experience.

Dr. Warner was my second opinion on a diagnosis for my left shoulder. He told me that the other doctor misdiagnosed me and that I do not have a calcium deposit after all. He got me a MRI and will be making an appointment with me next week.

Great doctor

The provider is knowledgeable in his field and professional. I would recommend him. However, he was mainly involved with teaching the resident instead of spending time talking to me. It was a long wait time to see the doctor, and my interaction with him was very brief.

I've known Dr. Warner since my first shoulder replacement surgery 14 years ago. He continues to be absolutely stellar in his field. He always has assistants that are top notch. I can't say enough good about him. I have recommended him to so many people over the years. Dr. Warner has replaced both of my shoulders successfully. I'm [redacted] and still able to do 360s with both arms. He's my hero.

I would have benefitted from on in person examination but virtual was selected for travel convenience. Provider could not address or explain to me complaints I have of continuing pain.

I am pleased with the outcome of my shoulder surgery six months ago. This was a follow-up visit. He compared my strength between the left and right arms. He examined my arm range of motion. He explained why strenuous activity is the last to recover and can take a year. I was happy with that explanation.

Very carefully explained I am going to switch all of my needs there

I know that he is one of the best shoulder specialist in the country,However, I felt he was very condescending to me, as if I did not know what I was talking about in even the simple things. He did not have the patience for anything I had to say.

Dr. Warner seemed to care about my shoulder pain and is working to resolve it. I went to him for a second opinion after the first orthopedic surgeon I saw did not do enough to help me, so my latest MRI has shown that the problem has gotten worse.

I feel Dr Warner listens to you and gives you the best care you need.

Easy to talk to

Dr. Warner made me feel comfortable. It was nice to be with a doctor who was so knowledgeable about my shoulder. I really appreciated him that day.

I was referred to him from a friend and found him detailed, orientated on all the specifics of my injury and was able to give me a clear diagnosis of what should be done with options and referred me to a wonderful website that he developed that also gives me further information on my injury and we'll see what happens after the surgery in two weeks.

Dr. Warner is amazing, first of all, and he explained everything to me before my surgery and post-surgery, and my post-op visits have been very positive and very encouraging. Dr. Warner has been one of the best physicians I have ever received care from. He is knowledgeable and not quick to jump to conclusions regarding your care. I would highly recommend him.

I think he's great. He certainly knows what he's talking about. I had a high opinion of him before I came in. He seemed a bit rushed. He didn't seem really interested in questions, although frankly, he may not have all the information because he couldn't get the MRI. So maybe premature in the assessment, but overall, certainly excited about continuing to work with him.
