Hi, this is about John Fogalas. I wanted to impress that I was very surprised that the time went by so quickly. We had a lot of complicated issues, seven different buckets of symptoms that we asked John to help my wife and I sort out. And he was able to do that. And he took the extra time. It was over an hour for him to be able to do what he did and explain and answer all of our questions. So I really value that. And I didn't feel rushed. And the second thing is that he knows me.

My daughter was experiencing big emotions during her appointment regarding vaccinations. Dr. Tsongalis took his time and adjust his approach to try his best to get his assessment done while navigating her big emotions.

Just ad a punch of pluses to each answer that I gave.

All my questions were answered and I felt i received good care.

Really appreciated that this doctor made time on very short notice for my infant child. [redacted] So thank you for making the time. and finding room for [redacted] because it meant a lot to us.

I didn't realize I had to check in on the first floor, but the gentleman at the main desk was able to take care of it without asking me to go back downstairs. A simple thing, but it was lovely.

Normally my doctor is excellent, but on this occasion I was disappointed. I could hear through the wall (without making out any of the words) that the previous patient kept the doctor talking a very long time. Consequently, he arrived a half hour late for my appointment and seemed stressed and worn out. Moreover, he was in a rush to catch up in his schedule and did not give my case as much attention as he normally would have. For example, the nurse had talked to me about getting a flu vaccine while I was there, but that was forgotten. Also, I had two medical questions but only the primary question was answered before I was ushered out. Avoiding the stress of the previous appointment with a difficult patient carry into the appointment with the next patient is an area for potential improvement.

The Doc. is a very caring person.

Dr. Tsongalis is always really great. He had some questions about like an old medical thing that I forgot to follow up on some years ago. And even though it's not what I was there for, he was really efficient and kind and looked into it and sort of took that worry off my mind. So I really appreciated that. And he's always just very kind and knowledgeable. So.

This is not specifically about Dr. Tsongalis, but I find the apparent lack of communication between providers a little off-putting. I have three regular providers, two under your umbrella and a third recommended doctor outside. "When did you get your last foot exam? Have you had an A1C recently? When was your last eye exam? ..." Why aren't those things in my records?

Dr. Tsongalis does his job very well. I know he is very busy but he always makes sure I understand everything he went over during the appointment

I felt he was very negative and I came home deflated and he really didn't have enough information about the surgery that I had had previous to my visit with him.

Dr. Tsongalis has been my primary for me for more than two decades. He is an exceptionally fine doctor and I consider myself lucky to be under his care.

He listens carefully, asks excellent questions, makes careful examinations, then outlines the options with pros and cons, gives his recommendation and reasoning, and opens the space for me to make an informed decision (or ask further questions).

"Dr. John" has been our family PCP for years. He is the BEST!!!! Real teamwork with me--understands my desire to wean off anti-depressants....We have started. We are also going to monitor my blood pressure...and see if I can discontinue my anti-hypertensive. NEVER have I had a provider who lived the teamwork mantra like him.
