I had never seen this doctor before. He was replacing my doctor of three years who has left. As a first meeting, I was really amazed and disappointed that he only took literally five minutes with me. We had no other type of conversation other than his telling me the results of my scan. He was certainly polite and professional, but I waited an hour and a half to get in. So an hour and a half to wait for five minutes was pretty appalling, I thought.

When I first called to make an appointment, I got a very rude receptionist. She kind of rushed me off the phone and wouldn't let me ask any questions. But the next day when I called, I got a very nice receptionist and it's been all excellent since then.

The only issue I had with my visit was that the radiologist overrode the doctor's orders to do the CT scan with contrast after I had already taken the premeds and everything, and I was disappointed with that. Hopefully, I won't have to do another CT scan because they didn't do the contrast.

Sorry to say this was my first visit, but for me he understood where I was coming from dealing with family history and how I would like the process of dealing with this nodule to be handled. Not a waiting game. Sadly we are now waiting for images to be transferred to go forward.
