Dr. Jiani Guo has been my primary care doctor for the last 2 years. During this time, she referred me to weight loss doctor, and I lost 50 pounds. She also recently addressed my high blood pressure issue and picked up on my low vitamin D and B12 deficiencies. She is very attentive and has excellent attention to detail. I am grateful for the care she provides.

While I know that all my information etc is all on the screen now, even when I was talking to her she continued to just look at the screen and we made very little eye contact during the visit - if at all. This happens with most providers these days but I find it difficult because even though I understand why it happens it leaves me feeling 'unseen' and also that she is only half listening when I speak to her. I also felt that while my general health is very good, she didn't really take the few other things I mentioned very seriously. I am on anxiety meds and when I asked if I should be reducing the dose she didn't ask questions that might indicate how I am doing as I would have wanted her to do -she just said okay and wrote a lesser prescription. No advice either on what I should look out for should the lesser dose prove not to be sufficient. I am clued in enough to read my own wellness but just as well because I feel strongly that managing my anxiety med is not being taken seriously enough.. It seems to be a case of leave me on it until I ask to come off it.

I've been seeing Dr Guo for a number of years and she reads my cha rt before seeing me and knows what is going on. Very thorough and knowledgeable. Great personality. I feel I can talk with her about anything.

Dr. Guo is the best. She is really, really careful about prescription medications. She always instructs my test results. She's just great all around. She always listens very well. She always hears what I have to say. She's just great.

Care is great.

She doesn't start the conversation about anything that's going on with me. I was very sick for 4 weeks with pneumonia and allergy. She asked how my cough was. I asked her for blood work. Cholesterol and diabetes check. I asked her about what vaccines I needed. She doesn't ask about anything. She doesn't seem to know me or my record. As you know I'm not happy with her at all. If I didn't keep track of my health, I feel she wouldn't either. [redacted]

When I called to book this appointment I specifically asked for an ANNUAL AND SKIN ISSUES. When I got there the doctor said it was only booked as a skin exam basically. Then she said she has time for a Pap smear but that's it. Realistically I know this isn't the doctors fault but she made small remarks that I didn't like. Saying that if I "was a man" then she could've done the annual and she "doesn't have time to talk about 3 years worth of concerns"... even though I never said I had any other concerns other than my skin issues. There was a few other things that bothered me but those are the two main things that I personally don't think she should've said to me in the way that she did. [redacted]

I'm glad to have Dr Guo as my PCP. She is knowledgeable and attentive, and has always made herself or the nurses at the clinic available to meet my needs and answer my questions
