Dr. Sun listens and does all she can to point me in the right direction. She's thorough and kind.

I felt OK with the interaction with this provider in the room. But with follow up correspondence, it made me feel like she didn't actually hear me or connect the patient to the results she was following up about. Most of our visit was spent talking about my wanting to get pregnant and how that desire has affected me with coming off different meds. When my lab results came back, she suggested a medication and when I asked, can I take it pregnant? She said no then why did you make that suggestion? I'm not sure if she wasn't listening in the room or if she didn't connect patient results to patient files after. Either way it left a very bad taste in my mouth since switching to the Westwood location (I was forced to after Newton corner folded) I have not felt the same level of continuity in my care.

My experience with Dr. Sun is always a great one. She goes over everything, she listens, she's very patient, and when you speak to her and ask her about certain things, she's very honest, she lets you know whether it's a good thing, bad thing, and what tests should be done. It has taken me some time to get to know Dr. Sun as it has for her to know me. Language is a little bit of a barrier in our first appointment, but that improves every time I see her. I have communicated with her office through email and received a prompt response. She has made great recommendations to me for additional specialist care, and I am very happy with the service I'm getting from Dr. Sun.

The Dr is very clear about what my situation is and what I need to help during yearly visits the same she has excellent communication skills

I didn't feel good about the visit with Dr. Sun. I didn't feel she was knowledgeable about my medical condition and I also felt that her demeanor wasn't good. She didn't listen well and she didn't seem interested in listening to what I had to say. And in a couple of situations, she seemed like she was blaming me or discouraging me from expressing my opinion. [redacted]

Excellent care

The recent visit with my primary doctor was a disaster. She showed nothing but inpatient and full of rude and negative words. I tried to explain my situation and the pain I was suffering, but she said to me that you're not going to die. The only advice she provided was' Google, do you know how to google?'.

Dr. Sun has been my doctor for a good bit now and she is absolutely positively amazing on every level. She's intelligent, she's hardworking, she's compassionate. She listens very attentively. She comes up with thoughts that are fabulous, just very specific to myself and my needs and concerns. She's just simply lovely, everything about her.

Dr Sun showed little empathy. She spoke judgmentally about people who cannot afford a physical exam (me) unless Medicare covers it. She ranted about people who should be working 2 jobs to provide for their families, regardless of disability, age, etc. I was very shocked and insulted.

Provider takes a one-size fits all approach to healthcare. I explained interventions that failed for me and her only response was disbelief or that I had to do them longer or better to achieve an outcome that still did not reach my health targets. Complained about Medicaid patients, (I have private insurance) and overall just talked past me on most issues. [redacted]

Dr Jenny Sun is an excellent physician and she understands my medical history, issues and my preferences. She listens, is respectful, professional, and gives excellent advice and medical recommendations. Most importantly, I trust her. I don't trust just anyone. I recommend others to Dr Sun.

She was very smart and efficient but it was my first time meeting her and she did not have any small talk ( bedside manner) she was strictly business and looking at the computer. Her exam was thorough and she did make some good recommendations for supplements. [redacted] Overall she was efficient

It was a pleasure to be seen by Dr Sun herself instead of her NPA. What I was very pleased with was her follow up suggestion as to a MGHB facility to have a necessary test before a scheduled surgery. Had she no, I would have had to reschedule the surgery.

Dr. Sun is one of the best doctors that I've ever seen. She is very caring. She listens carefully. She explains things carefully. She doesn't make me feel rushed. She knows my history and whatever I've taken for medications, whatever kind of previous surgeries I've had. She knows all of that before she comes in the room. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.
