Dr. Setlur is amazing! She addressed all of my daughter's concerns and talked/listened directly to hear.

I am a first-time mother and was referred to this doctor as a tongue-tie specialist. Although she performed the procedure, she did not provide a clear diagnosis confirming whether my baby actually had a tongue-tie. She also questioned my decision not to see a private lactation consultant and dismissed the guidance I received from the hospital's lactation consultants. She did not listen carefully, showed a lack of empathy, and appeared focused on rushing through the appointment rather than addressing my concerns.

Wonderful experience. Dr. Setlur answered all of our questions with kindness and understanding.

De. Setlur is normally pleasant to us during visits but this one felt very different. I felt like she was being condescending and short with me, almost like she was angry with me. I was asking questions as a concerned parent with a true desire to understand if there were any next steps I should be taking for my child and she was speaking to me in a tone that made me feel like I was crazy for even being concerned. It really made me sad because it was not the experience we've had in the past [redacted].

And Dr. Setlur was very attentive, listened to us carefully, and responded to our questions. She did a thorough examination of my daughter, which I appreciate, and she gave us suggestions and information about the way forward. She was also very friendly and positive.

Dr. Setlur is a very knowledgeable provider and is great with kids, but comes off as very arrogant and bothered when a concern is raised for discussion. tends to lack empathy for the parents, at least in my experience. I always feel very judged. Im sure she has many patients and I 100% trust her with my child's care, but she should take a step back and self evaluate in this area. Thank you.

The provider's attitude is very disappointing especially considering she is providing pediatric services. My daughter who is [redacted] years old and who has anxiety had seen Dr. Setlur last week. It was a very disappoint experience. Two years ago I decided to stop seeing this provider due to the same attitude problem but when we had an emergency, I had to come back to the same provider as this was the fastest solution. During the visit without changing the words, she said I haven't seen you for two years and things are looking horrible. When my daughter started to be scared she asked, everything will be ok, right? The provider repeated "I didn't see you for two years and things got really worse and we will see what we can do. The situation or the moment did not need this level of direct conversation especially in front of a kid. The ear is inflamed and it needed treatment before the ear tube could be removed. The doctor created an unnecessary drama in the room.

Dr. Setlur was absolutely amazing, no less than five times she asked 'what other questions do you have for me?' She explained everything extremely carefully and made my daughter very comfortable (even when getting a camera up her nose!) My daughter has heightened anxiety so having a Dr that was able to put her at ease was priceless
