Dr. Irani was professional kind and made me feel very welcome to have her do my surgery

I appreciate that Dr. Irani was able to accommodate me so quickly in providing a second opinion on a recent recommendation to undergo a colonectomy. Dr. Irani was thoughtful and asked good questions about my recent episode and hospitalization for complicated diverticulitis. She was thorough but stuck to the facts and don't waste any time with small talk. She was direct and made me feel completely comfortable with her assessment of my situation. I went to the appointment assuming I would be having surgery and left feeling confident in her expertise and much more knowledgeable about my recent episode and decision to avoid surgery. She provided suggestions for diet and any future attack, along with a recommendation to have my next colonoscopy with a specialist. I look forward to following up with Dr Irani in the future.

Dr Irani has been a critical part of my cancer care. The Dana Farber team & I depend on her review of the cancer area to see whether any new cancer cells are present. She's been visually reviewing the area every 6 months [redacted]. I'm betting there will be no cancer cells visible!! Dr Irani has been critical to my care for cancer! I'm delighted she's been my MD!!!

The doctor was super nice and explained my problems and made me feel very comfortable about what's wrong with me c I feel that whats wrong is embarrassing

Dr. Irani is great. The appointment was late, about an hour, 45 minutes late, but that happened. She's wonderful every time I see her and she's a great surgeon. The nurse who came in was really wonderful. I really liked her. I think I pressed the wrong key when we were talking about nurses, but she was terrific. And Faulkner is a great place to go. So I was happy with the whole thing, and I've seen Dr. Irani for a couple of years now.

Dr. Irani is the most compassionate doctor. She listens, she takes time with you, she's clinically exceptional and has great diagnostic skills. She advocates for her patients and she just goes above and beyond in every way possible. I have a very trusting relationship with her. She saved my life when she did my surgery and I feel that she's just the warmest, most compassionate doctor and she provides exceptional care.

Yeah, the provider, Dr. Irani was very friendly and also seemed very knowledgeable and I felt confident with her care and what she will provide going forward. Dr. Irani went beyond what was expected on this visit and was able to include a small medical procedure for which I am most appreciative.

My provider has great reviews. It's highly rated. So that helps. I thought she was a little bit brisk. Not in a necessarily bad way, but maybe a little lax. But I understand this because for her, it's a day-to-day thing. And she's used to it. So it's not a big deal for me. You know, system is something new, still scary. So I think a little bit more empathy would have been nice, but what matters to me most is results.

As always, thank you for your knowledge, kindness and compassion. It truly is appreciated.

Dr Irani is terrific. She's been a great support over the past 4 years since the anal cancer diagnosis. She told me at the last visit I'm almost done with only 2 more visits to go, to reach the 5 yr mark. Really great progress and I appreciate all her help!!

I always enjoy my visits with Dr. Irani.

This is the first time I saw the doctor and I had my daughter and husband with me for support. She was so nice to include them in the conversation after I gave her permission and explained things if they had questions, period. I found her very comfortable to talk to. She was very thorough going over my past and she even recommended another doctor that she could coordinate with to complete my treatment. I was amazingly pleased with her and her nurse. I was taken into the room earlier than my appointment. The nurse was very pleasant and very thorough and it was a very good experience the first time going to a doctor.
