She was late coming in and appt seemed rushed from the start. I had not seen this provider before and it was all business.

The appointment went as expected. Further imaging is needed but an initial treatment plan was put in place.

I trust her with my life. Doesn't get any better than that!

Dr. Kurz is a fantastic doctor. I've been with her for almost over 10 years. She is very thorough. She's very detailed, very empathetic. She listens and gives when you spend one-on-one time with her, you don't feel rushed. You feel at ease and you feel like you're being listened to. And most importantly, you feel like there is a plan being put in place with your next visit or next steps procedure-wise. I highly recommend her to anyone that has back issues or sciatic issues. She is incredible at what she does, and that's why I've stuck with her for over 10 years.

Nothing about provider, herself. But, for some reason, I'm scheduled to get the injection before I get the MRI. Seems like she would want new MRI first. There is an old MRI, but it's more than two years old. CONFUSING!!

Of late, with all the reading, I've done about the Brigham, I'm kind of disappointed that they have lesser amount of minutes to see a patient. I know other doctors. I've discussed this with and they agree. So when we're down to patient care as counting minutes, as an RN, I disagree.

I thought that Dr. Jennifer Kurz was very professional and understood my concerns about dealing with pain on a daily basis. She was aware that neuropathy was a ongoing dilemma for me that was getting worse. She talked about her seminars that she has created for people to share their experiences and better deal through meditation etc. I was very impressed with her as she is approaching handling pain thru this approach and not by taking pain meds.

While this provider was a kind person, I felt as though she was not open to discuss and treat me according to individual medical history. She seemed to approach with a cookie-cutter plan and when I asked questions or asked about anything outside of it, she didn't answer/consider and just went back to her preferred approach. [redacted]. Overall, I was disappointed to go in hopeful for someone to dig into what could be going on for me, but left feeling unheard.

This was an extremely painful and stressful acute situation in my life. Jennifer Kurz and her nursing staff provided optimal care that I am so thankful for. In addition, I can get very anxious due to past medical trauma and Dr Kurz and the nursing staff were very attentive to this to make sure I felt safe and relaxed.

Having had painful sciatica for over two years and unsuccessful medical intervention so far, I fully expected that at MGB, with their excellent reputation, they would correctly diagnose and treat me. That was confirmed immediately when I met with Dr. Kurz. She was so empathetic. Even though her time with me would be limited and she needed to get her questions answered in order to correctly diagnose and treat me, she allowed me to explain my medical problems and get my questions, of which I had many, answered. She really listened. She briefly explained any medical terms I did not understand. Therefore, I have full confidence in her diagnosis and recommendedtreatments.
