Dr. Hajibandeh is a full-scope Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon whose clinical practice and research focuses on craniomaxillofacial trauma. He received his DDS from Columbia University and his MD from Harvard Medical School. He then completed his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital which included extensive general surgery and anesthesia training. Dr. Hajibandeh is a full-time faculty member within the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and is an Instructor at Harvard Medical School. He serves as the Facial Trauma Representative within the MGH Trauma Committee and is also the Director of Quality & Safety within the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. As a former civil engineer, Dr. Hajibandeh utilizes technology and design principles commonplace in engineering practice by implementing computer-aided design and 3D-printing to plan, and execute complex maxillofacial operations. His research focuses on the precision of patient-specific implants used in primary and secondary traumatic reconstruction.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Hajibandeh. From the very beginning, he took the time to explain everything clearly, breaking down complex medical information in a way that was easy to understand. He made sure I knew all my options and genuinely cared about my comfort and confidence in the process. His bedside manner is incredible. He's kind, compassionate, and truly listens. On top of that, he's brilliant and clearly knows his stuff. My surgery was efficient, painless, and the results have improved my quality of life tenfold. It's rare to find a doctor who is not only exceptionally skilled but also takes the time to connect with patients as people. Dr. Hajibandeh has completely changed my life, and I will be forever grateful to him.

This was just an initial consultation for surgery, however, even in the initial visit I was impressed with how thoughtful and gracious all the staff and providers I saw were. I have severe anxiety and everyone was exceptionally patient and accommodating with me. I am looking forward to future appointments here.
