He is the best. When he first came in the office, he asked what he could do for me, which opened the way for me to share all my concerns with him. He went above and beyond with listening deeply and providing information that was helpful. He re-prescribed a medication that I had taken last year, and suggested certain doses to try over a period of time, leaving it up to me to decide. The last thing he did was tell a very funny ? story which made me laugh. Then asked how my anxiety and headaches were at that moment as I had come into the visit very high on both. When I checked my emotions and my body experience, all were relaxed ? and rejuvenated. What more could I have asked for!!!

I found this time, as I had several years ago, that Dr. Levin was in all respects thorough, professional, and caring. I like him very much, on both a personal and professional level, and I would highly recommend him to anyone else needful of an EMG at this clinic.

Dr. Levin makes us feel like with everything going on that there's more stability and that's a really good thing in neurology. She creates a lot of stability and we appreciate that.

Dr. Levin was very thorough. He was familiar with my history. Dr. Levin asked me if anyone ever reviewed the results of my stroke or my rehab. He reviewed the results of my stay at [redacted] rehab as I had a stroke. He reviewed the results of my wearing a heart monitor at rehab for a month. Talked about a flutter, talked about my thyroid needing attention and told me that it was very important for me to be on a blood thinner and if I could not do that to look into the Watchmen Procedure. I had two visits with my regular doctor and never once did he speak of any of this. He immediately set me up with a professional to help me further explore my options. I have a good deal of confidence in him.

Dr. Levin is efficient, knowledgeable, and has great critical intelligence. He is not as expressive as other doctors I've had, but this in no way reflects his listening skills or empathy. He remembers everything I've told him, to the most minute detail months later, even verbatim. And he reflects back my subjective experiences, and expresses verbal empathy. He seems to rely on both the literature/research and on his experiences as a doctor to make treatment decisions, along with the verbal info he gathers from me as a patient. Not all doctors take all three factors into account. I feel more heard by Dr. Levin than I have been by other doctors, and I feel I am being treated by an extremely knowledgeable and experienced neurologists.

Friendly and knowledgeable

In general, it was a very positive experience. However, there was one thing that I don't know if it was a result of the test or not, but during the night that followed, I woke up and I have numbness in my hand and I woke up, it was more numb and it felt like it was burning and it was hot for a couple of hours. I didn't know if that was a result of the test. or if that was just an occurrence that happened to occur that night. Anyway, if it was a side effect of the test, it would have been helpful to know that that was a possibility and to be able to anticipate it.

Dr. Levin is a great provider, he takes the time to listen to my concerns and makes sure I understand what he is saying and comes up with a good plan to hopefully keep me on track with my medical condition.

I was impressed that although this was an initial investment, an initial visit, he had very thoroughly looked at my file and was well aware of what the issues were before I entered the office.

This was my first visit with Dr. Levin. I did have to wait many months, maybe seven, to get this appointment. However, I was pleased with the appointment itself. Dr. Levin spent about an hour with me. He listened to what I have to say, and I felt that he was very thorough and easy to approach and ask questions to. So I appreciated that.

Overall, I enjoyed my visit with this provider. However, I felt like a few times I had to repeat myself in the way of that they weren't grasping that I didn't have any other symptoms or anything that triggered from light to sound. They kept saying, oh, if you, you know, have more sun, we thought that that would trigger it. But I kept saying that No, that doesn't trigger my migraine. So I think a little bit more listening, active listening maybe would be the word choice to use would be great.

It was a great comfort to know that his care and theirs were coordinated. I also was grateful that he allowed my daughter in Eastern Massachusetts to facetime the appointment and even to ask questions and view the fiilms. He was, as usual, completely prepared and straightforward about what he knew and what he could not predict, which I appreciated very much.
